My partner worked from home today just to be here for the post-person. She was vigilant all day!
No knocks or bell ringing. Even if she had been indisposed, all the Greyhounds would have alerted her.
I come home and check the mailbox. Couple of other packages in there (batts and joose) and lo and behold - the postal slip saying that no one had been home to sign for THE package! RIGHT!
I'll definitely be at the post office when it opens in the morning. I'm dying here guys - so close yet so far away.

My 1st Grand situation was similar to this. Tracking said delivery was scheduled for that day, then the carrier came and went so I called the office they said the carrier had it. So luckily they were still in the neighborhood and I had to run them down and ask, they said they didn't have it and I told them the office said he did and he checked the truck again and low and behold there it was...

Sorry about your situation :(

Tomorrow morning I'm stopping at the post office before work and collecting my prize Woodvil Minis. Gonna take all my paraphernalia with me and sit at my desk and set myself up in style. No patients at my dialysis clinic on TThS, so I am golden. My secretary thinks it is so great that I gave up analogs that she encourages me to vape in the building. Bless her heart!

YEAH!!!

DH still has an occasional analog. He sneaked out to the car, one day, had a few puffs on an analog. The moment he walked back into the clinic, a nurse, across the room from door, busted him major. Good for her!!!!

Ugh, same boat here, save for the fact I was at work all day long. The suspense is a killer! Last time my mail lady just signed my name for me and it was there waiting in the mail box when I got home.

You should have given her a gift or flowers for her kind act the last time so she would know you approved. I was working at home today listening for my mail carrier, whom I have gotten to know casually. I heard him open the door to his truck and took off downstairs. He was filing out some form in the truck, so I just went out and walked up to him. He was surprised and gave me the form to sign. He said, "You're quick today." I said, "These boxes are important to me, and I was listening for you all afternoon." He asked how I knew it was him. I told him I work in the front of the house, and his truck and truck door make a sound that I know. He looked a little startled by that. I don't think he would try to sneak by but now he knows that he can't. He also knows that I like him. I haven't asked him to sign my name if I am not home, but I may.

You people are doing it wrong ..... your supposed to wait at the mailbox :)

Seriously though, sorry to hear that. There are some super lazy ones out there that just drop the slip and run.

Hope your post office isn't like mine. They throw it back in to re-sort and can't pick it up till after 10am or some crap like that.

I live in a very small township and have rural mail delivered at the street only. They can pull in the drive and come to the door, but sometimes they do not. I call the PO, which we have down the street, and request they just hold my packages till I come home from work on Thursday. It is safer and no hassle trying to catch a mail person. Mine are already there, I just have to wait!

LOL brother - I tried that, we have those community boxes and it happens to be across the street from my office window. I ran to my box, unlocked it and whipped out the card before he could shut his car door. He looked annoyed at having to pause to speak to me lol

His back seat was full to the roof with boxes, and to my face tells me he doesn't have it. This happened 3 times. Usually if there's no sig required he leaves it in the box if it fits. Sig required? Trip to PO for you, asso!

No holiday bonus for joo!
