Hi All. I'm new to vaping and new to the forum. Like a lot of people just starting out I've used Blu cigs and NJoy Kings and am quickly realizing I have much to learn, not only about better alternative e-cigs but about vaping as a hobby and a craft. There's a lot to take in. In the meantime, I've discovered that with the disposables, and I suppose the smaller rechargeables, I can vape discreetly in my office. I'm lucky to work in an office of my own. Without the smoke and smell, I can vape at my leisure. When somebody comes in, I just set the thing down among pens and tablet styluses. Fits right in, at least the blu does. I'm not looking for a hobby for the moment, so for now, at least, I'll stick with the cigarette style contraptions. But the more I read, the more interesting vaping gets. So, who knows?

One thing I have learned here is the more I learn, the more I spend. I'm still not smoking and having a heck of a lot of fun but the old CC and bank account is sure taking a hit. Did I mention that it was fun? You will learn to have an opinion on the finish of your e cigarette.....lol

This is my obligatory first post as well. I can say that with models that start empty, you have greater flexibility in flavor, and thus it becomes far more interesting. I really like automatic batteries, if they allow you to pull easily enough. Most people prefer manual batteries, but I find the button to be bothersome. I have several models of both. My favorite tank is the Kanger mini protank II and I like low resistance cartomizers for the thinner batteries. I make my own juice now. I have my own little laboratory with test tubes and graduated cylinders and so on. It's great fun.

Welcome Kev. I'm also fairly new to vaping, and like you started with the Blu. I've since purchased a couple of egos and a Provari, but still use the Blu when I'm out and about. It's not the same as a tank on the Provari, but I don't worry about breaking a tank or losing it, either.

Enjoy, and good luck!
