So, i went speedily from ce5 clearomizers on an MVP2.0 to Aspire Nautilus on an MVP20W, and then to a mech mod with an atlantis, only to arrive at a Dark Horse at 45 watts on an ipv2x built with 8 wraps of kanthal, dual coil at .5 ohms. This all in the space of two months. I cant tolerate my Nautilus tanks anymore as they just aren't satisfying, and after drippers, my Atlantis barely satiates me when I am in need of a tank. Anyone else experience this headlong rush to sub ohming and the doscovery that the comfort zone for them isn't quite what they expected when they started vaping?

Welcome indeed, you've had quite the journey in 2 months!

I've given up on finding a tank that satisfies me. I just don't like something about them, compared to using a dripper.

I went to high wattage fairly quickly. I used an ego battery then a 15 watt mod for several months, and have been happily dripping around 50 watts on a mech for a few months now. Lowering the resistance did happen pretty quickly, but I also plateaued pretty quickly as well.

to ecf coustain. Nice to meet you and so glad you are here. Dripping spoiled me. Loved it from the first. Guess that is why I am so in love with the reos. Good luck to you and I look forward to reading more about you. Have fun and make yourself at home.

I was more of an 8-month person. I find that I read a lot to understand and to not make the money mistakes. I still have spent more than necessary since I wanted to grow, but it is a hobby.

I haven't got into the sub-ohm tanks yet. I am not sure that I will. I see the manufacturers not wanting us to build ourselves and, instead, buy their coils. I understand what they are doing, I just don't see the benefit so long as I can build a coil. I do have to say that I have PLENTY of RTAs, and am happy.

I like to tinker and store bought coils just don't do much for me.

I did a similar rush into dripping as well...not quite as quick though. For me it has just been about the airflow. As my lungs get better I like the unrestricted draw more and more. I bought my brother in law a nautilus mini for Xmas which is what I started on and I couldnt believe how much I hated it. I also search and search for these new tanks that are so much more convenient and then I get my hopes up when I see people go crazy over the flavor and vapor....then I buy it and not a single one has lived up to the hype for me. I will continue to live with the inconvenience of the RDA because it really is just that much better!

Thats how I feel about the Nautilus tanks. I thought they were absolutely amazing until I got an Atlantis. Now i cant use them. The flavor is muted, the vapor is weak and too cool for my pallet. My Dark Horse wide open is what really satisfies, but the Atlantis works well enough to get me by when I cant drip.
