hey y'all. after a couple of months of browsing, figured i would get around to registering over here too.

background: started smoking @ 14 ... been PAD+ since 17. figured it was time to give it up. Never really seriously tried before though.
picked up a couple disposables, and a cheap semi-rechargeable kit from the gas station. joined a different forum where a friend of mine posts regularly ... and started weening myself off of the tobacco (and as a side note, i refuse to refer to a cigarette as an "analog", because analog is not the opposite of electronic, especially in this instance).

so, 4 weeks ago i was smoking 1.5 PAD, and now i am on day 16 tobacco free. I got a small care package donated anonymously with a ego battery, a couple of attys, several cartos & clearos, a tip, and over a dozen partial bottles of juice in various strengths / flavors. it was just enough to get me started, and a second battery from a local smoke shop got my wife started too. the cool thing is, that from what i understand, someone that is fairly advanced and moved on to mods cleaned out their "junk drawer" and their box of juice they either didn't like or got sick of.

the key to my moving away from the tobacco and to vaping full time was variety. i needed the options to keep my mind (and my taste buds) busy.

i picked up a kgo kit, a ton of juice from GP (love his USA Mix, like smoking a cig and drinking hot chocolate), some visions, a pack of ce2 and ST clear xl cartos, and we are set. i am on day 16, i believe that today will be my wife's first tobacco free day. she hasn't rolled a cigarette in 2 weeks, and has only been smoking one in the morning for over a week.

I'm an old member but this is my first post. I was looking for ejuice suppliers in Winnipeg...

I smoked for 10 years then stopped 5 years ago. I heard of ecigs then decided to try them out since I was missing the relaxing effect of nicotine after a hard day so I tried them and I've loved them ever since. I migrated to Canada two months ago and I can't find any sellers here in Winnipeg.

Greetings from Canada! Welcome to ECF!

I refer to them as cigarettes too because... well, they're cigarettes! Lol.

I also believe it is just an alternate nicotine delivery system. I am still free to have a cigarette, if I want, and it would not disrupt my life, I just do not have the "want"! That's a Good thing!

"Organic Crap", yes it is, very much so!

Relax, Enjoy!
