I would check this out due to the 6ml, top fill and wick control from the outside. I'm going to wait to see if other coils work in this tank first. I rock my Starre with every coil now; Melo, Atantis v1/v2 and their nickel coils, Maganus, Herakles and of course stock. This looks like a great tank as well but I'm done buying a specific coil for one tank.

Mike, aside from the stock Starre/Maganus coils, which out of all the others perform best in your Starre?

Of the stock, I prefer the 0.5 to the 0.2 simply because it is more economical on both the juice and the battery while still giving a fabulous vape.
But they're not that easy to find and are quite expensive, so I was hoping that one of the cheaper alternatives might do a comparable job in my Starre.

Cheers.

Sean.

Hey Kobe, honestly, I would say it depends on your vaping preference. For instance, the Melo and original Atlantis coils range from 20-35w. Atlantis v2 coils come in .3 and .5. The .3's are best at 60-80w, while the "new" cotton .5's are best around 35-45w. I got to try the Atlantis nickel coils in the Starre at my friends shop on a SX Mini M Class and really enjoyed the flavor just a tad more and being able to mess with the temp control was cool. I'm actually receiving some nickel coils tomorrow to play around with on my iPV4. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them. It's nice to have the options with this tank when you can't find the stock coils. IMO, besides the nickel coils, I feel the stock coils give the best flavor...possibly due to them being a parallel wrap or the "medical grade cotton".

I also prefer the .5 coils for the same reasons you stated. They're better on juice and battery life, especially if you're running a single 18650 device.

As far as price, you may find the Melo coils cheaper than the rest but they all range between $13-22 in my findings in the States. The stock coils I've seen go as low as $16 up to $20. Are you having trouble finding them where you are? Would it pay to have them shipped to you from the States?

Thanks Mike - really appreciate your insight & advice.
I'm enjoying the Starre at just 30-35w on my SX Mini S class. As you know yourself, the stock coils are stellar and seem to last a nice long time.

I've no problem sourcing coils (close to China here) but I can get Atlantis v2s for about half the price of stock Starre/Maganus.
So I think my next order will be to try out some of those v2s @ 0.5

Thanks again!

Sean.

The OBS T-VCT Sub Tank is listed as for Pre-Sale on only one site, that I can find.

I'm honestly surprised that this tank doesn't get more chatter... it is about the same size as the Kanger Sub Tank Mini, but holds 6ml of juice, has top feed and you can adjust the juice control from the outside of the tank, unlike the only other tank I've seen with juice control, which you had to adjust BEFORE filling the tank!

Not sure how much the coils will cost, and if you prefer RTA to purchasing coils, I can understand you wouldn't be interested in this tank at this time, but for others, this tank seems like a winner!

I'm very close to ordering one of these, but I've been burned in the past, where I pre-order, then find it online, in stock, while the place I pre-ordered from weeks earlier still doesn't have it in stock!

It's priced at $32.99, for those interested....
