Just wanted to post a quick reference for long term storage of cartomizers maybe more of an observation. I fell off the e-cig wagon end of last year, just started up again. I was going through my e-cig box and found a bunch of unopened cartos: V4L Dunhall, Bloog Max Fusion Apple, and VapeSafe Apple. They were all in their sealed packages, I purchased them all between April, and Aug 2011. Opened them up and this is what I found, Bloogs had little vapor and no taste, Some of the V4L had vapor, juice oozing at the top but absolutely no flavor, some were just bone dry. VapeSafe apple, although a little weak, still tasted of Apple, and they still had a lot of vapor.
They were stored in two different locations, Bloogs, & V4L were both wooden box stored dark place, the VapeSafes were in a kitchen drawer, also dark and cool. Next I took a look at how each was packaged, see photo as well. The V4L come in a box with just the rubber caps on them, Bloogs come in box, blister packs and rubber caps, The VapeSafe came in a box with rubber caps and each carto was wrapped individually in a plastic sleeve. Ergo after one year of sitting the VapeSafes were still quit good to vape, and Im enjoying them a lot. I should also state Ive got a year old 30ml bottle of WOW Clove from V4L stored in the kitchen drawer, it still has a lot of vapor but the flavor is pretty weak, can barely tell its Clove.
I do not know if Vapesafes cartos are still wrapped individually or not anymore but if they are and you are looking for longer storage, Vapesafe would be the one to buy or anyone else who wraps their cartos individually.
The moral of this little story is that, don't over buy and don't quit vaping until you finish all of your e-liquid. LOL!
Im just passing this on as a reference and bit of useless information to tuck away in the back of your brains.
