Got a poseidon rda for quad coil builds and seen a picture on site after i got it of 8 coils on it. They look like they might me done in kinda of a crazy 8 over the center pin the pictures arent that clear if how it was done. I cant find any youtube videos to clarify for me was wondering if anyone on here has done 8 coils on a poseidon rda?

If you are referring to this photo...
Take a standard Poseidon with 4 parallel coils... and double it. With this, you have two coils per negative post, one on each side, which makes two coils in series... times four negative posts, in parallel. Or... 4X series by 4X parallel.
It appears with this one that there may be eight separate coils, due to the odd piece of wire sticking out at 9:00 on the positive post... or it may be the same way I built one, using four lengths of wire - two coils per wire - with a straight length crossing over the positive, per pair of coils.
Can't say for sure if the wires terminate or cross over... without the ability to see under the positive screw.

You can see 3 wire ends in the picture.. so this is 8 coils in parallel isn't it? 2 ends at the 8-9:00 and 1 at 5:00.
Yeah, it looks like its 4 lengths of wire, each containing 2 coils. I've seen this picture several times now, and each time it makes me go 
On the negatives. The one I'm referring to is the one that appears to stick up, at 9:00 on the positive post. All the others are under the screw, but that one... with no clear end, at least that I can see.
Good catch, 93. I was wondering how long it'd take for someone to actually read/stare/read and think... "hey! that ain't right".

Yep... just because two separate coils share common posts, doesn't make them series, or with this particular build/RDA, two coils from a common wire (which is one definition of coils in series)... doesn't make them series either.
It would seem so, other than the inconsistency at 9:00. I'm either blinder than I thought, or it's an actual anomaly.
Yea those were the pics i was talking about i thought it was 8 parrallel but wasnt sure so decided to ask on thread if i could get the series and parrallel ill try but according to the pics 8 parrallels should work thanks yall
Looks to be 2 single coils,(States 9:00 leg) and for some reason 3 sets of sleepers. A sleeper being 2 coils on 1 wire through/seperated by the posts, making it parallel.
