Has anyone experienced an e-liquid that vapes "hotter" at lower voltages, simply because of the way the flavors interact in your mouth?

This V4L RY4... on an ego battery (at 2.2-2.4 ohms, claimed by the manufacturer of the puromizer), the caramel flavoring seems to condense in the mouth and fall on the tongue, almost like real molten caramel. At 4.5 volts on a lavatube, it seems to stay vaporized and not cause that sort of effect.

Does this indicate something wrong with the mixing or flavor choice or anything else? Or is it just an odd artifact contributing to the "charm" of the juice?
