Odd question: which e-cig looks the most convincing?

I'm in a group of folks who get together at retro bars, jazz clubs and restaurants in period dress for fun, re-creating an era, 1940s to 1960s....think Film Noir or "Mad Men". I've got the fedora, vintage suit, period horn-rims, tie clips, shoes, hankie, watch...I even drive a 1960's car...

I would love an ecigarette to absolutely complete my period look...I'll be able to puff away in any of the old-school cocktail lounges or dark Italian restaurants where we get together...my girlfriend wants one too, to smoke through a long cigarette holder!

The photo forum was helpful, but I'd like to ask the crowd--which ecigarette looks the most realistic and convincing? I'm not sure, but even in the photos it looks like some of the models are larger/longer than a traditional cigarette.

Anyone have recommendations for a model where priority is on a convincing size, "flame" and good quality curls of smoke?

Thanks very much for your help!

Hate to ask, but you DO currently smoke, right? It is hard to tell from your post. If you are thinking this is a safe, fun way to complete your look, please think again.

Now, if you ARE a current smoker, I think you've gotten lots of good answers to your questions about an e-cig for you, but no one has really addressed that comment about your girlfriend.

I don't think an e-cig will work with a cigarette holder. However, a classic penstyle in black (dse801 or rn4072) would replicate that look quite effectively.

Yeah the cigarette holder will be a no go unless you're brave enough to risk modding one (the cig end is just a hair too small)

BF bought me a 306 hoping to pair it with a cig holder (yes I smoked analogs) and I have a really great 306, am totally off analogs, and a very nice cigarette holder with nothing in it :) (incidentally, will be reporting my experiments re 306 shortly, but not yet or it might turn out a case of Murphy's law. I would LOVE it if anyone had any ideas about the cig holder/vaping connundrum (without traching the beautiful holder b/f bought me.

That's exactly what I've found... the 401 and l88b are just a shade too wide for the holder... you can kind of jam them in there, but it's wobbly and falls out eventually (not to mention hanging all crooked off the end of your holder).
I haven't gotten around to shaving a cart down yet, but that's EXACTLY what I was going to do.
