I have a question for everybody. Today I got home and was surprised to see my package hadn't arrived yet. I checked USPS tracking and it said "notice left". First of all, they didn't give me any notice, but it indicates on tracking that I need to pick it up at the post office within 15 days.

Mind you, I've been ordering for almost a year now, this has NEVER happened before. Could it be because of the new packaging V4L uses it didn't fit in the mailbox properly? It wasn't that large of an order, so I am completely perplexed as to why all of a sudden I have to go pick it up.

Any one ever have this happen to them?

Just got off the phone with USPS. What a PIA. Apparently the mailman utilized "discretion" and decided it would be safer at the post office since no one was home. This guy is a lazy ...... She also said I might encounter an issue at the post office because I don't have the "notice" I never received.

I WANTED MY PANCAKE AND WAFFLE CARTOS! LOL.

My first order I ever made was delivered unsealed and taped up. On top of that, it was drenched. Like the truck went through a hurricane then fell in the ocean as my package got pounded by shorebreak then resealed and delivered. lol.

I find it interesting how packages get delivered...

It seriously is insane!

This new mailman is just straight awful. The previous postal worker who delivered my mail was sharp, 11am-1130am daily. This new guy? 330pm if I'm lucky. He also doesn't let me leave change in the mailbox for a stamp in times I can't get out to buy one like the old one did.

Ah, I needed to complain. Thanks

HA! This is too amazing. I just got off phone with the usps too. There were 3 of us home all day today and they said they couldn't deliver a package so left a notice. Guess what, they didn't leave a notice here either. She told me to take the tracking number, my picture ID and tell I had been tracking it online and wouldn't have known it hadn't been delivered otherwise since I didn't receive a notice.

Twice I received a notice to pick it up at the post office. Both times, I went to the web site and complained.
I live in a condo, and when something doesn't fit in the mailbox (all the mailboxes are together), instead of
bringing it to my door as they are supposed to, they leave a notice. Lazy.

The apartment i used to live had 6 big mailboxes and 2 uber big mailboxes through out the complex. They would put a special key in your mailbox to open the big ones when you get a package. Maybe hint hint to management.

Hahaha too funny. She told me to call and ask the post office during business hours what form of identification I would need to bring to pick it up without the slip.

Can I get in on this USPS rant? One of my two orders from the pilgrim sales has been in Denver since yesterday. No tracking update for over 24 hours. I know it's just sitting there, all alone, in some dark cold room surrounded by strange mail for other people.......

My missing shipment must be keeping yours company. IL to FL via CO. Just love it.

You can call the postmaster at your locality and request them to re-deliver the package. Also recommend if you do a LOT of mail ordering a nice gift certificate for the holidays for groceries or a restaurant that everyone likes goes a LONG way. I have a mailman who will, with my written permission, sign off on packages from China (kids are cosplay/anime fans).

Yea, my mail carrier isn't the most ambitious either. I keep an eye on tracking. The last major order I tracked said "noticed left 10 min after it was "out for delivery". That was around 9:00 and my mail dosen't arrive till atfer 12:00. I taped closed the mailbox with gorilla tape and left a note on it saying "Bring my package to the door, I will sign for it." She was pretty mad she had to come up the drive to my house, but its her job. Even the post master said she needs to try to deliver it. She just didnt want to take the time. If I don't keep an eye out, it will happen all the time

Don't feel alone! One of my pilgrim's has been sitting in Elk Grove Village PO since the 9th. Yes, that's NINE days now! I called the USPS 800 number and it's being investigaged.
