So im recently new to the GG scene. Recently purchased a GGTS package with 2 oddys and a dripper oddy. I love everything about the stuff, amazing products. My problem is idk if its just me or something im doing wrong, im just not getting the nice full hits im looking for from my oddys which I see other people like (bishopheals) doing on facebook. Maybe my coils suck, airflow to juice flow ratio sucks. Im going to keep trying. I think once I get my zapper ill be able to make some nice coils and hopefully get those nice full lungs hits I want.

Also ordered a Ithaka from e-smokeguru.gr a couple of says ago which im super excited for!

Thanks for all the GG love guys and pointers which flow my way!!

And also happy to be apart of the GGTS family!

And also haha what is that big nut looking cap for? I have two of them but I cant figure it out....

Thanks guys!

Hello and welcome to the GG family. I was wondering what resistance is your current Oddy setup? Have you tried dual coils yet? Bish has some videos of his dual highlander coil setup that work great in Oddy. I normally use dual 1.5 ohm coils, total res about .8 ohms. Is the big nut the AD top cap??? If so it is not needed for Oddy. There are several variables when you set up an Oddy, I'm sure you will find something that you love if you keep trying different setups. Tell us more about your current setup and we can help you get it dialed in. What size wick, which battery, which size wire, total resistance, juice mix, burnt taste or flooding??? HTH, there are some Oddy experts in here that will get you sorted.

Congrats on your new gear and welcome to the family :toast:!
Don't give up on the odys, you'll find your sweet spot. What ohm coils are you wrapping? And can you post a pic of the "nut looking cap" your talking about?
My only advice for the GGTS is to make sure that your contacts are brass because conductivity is better than SS. And clean/polish those contacts regularly for optimum performance.

I'm trying to score a brass pack right now, or find a brass firing pin since mines SS. I try to wrap about 1.2-5 ohm coils. I just picked up a new multi meter yesterday so it will help. Haven't tried dual coil yet, which I will tonight. I'm using 30-32 gauge kanthal with 32 gauge nicrome NR wire and I also have .999 silver... And I also have a supersonic cleaner coming next week for the pieces to come out super clean!! I guess the caps I was talking about where the 901 and 801 caps

yeah go dual coil if you want better throat hit, once you get the dual coil thing going you wont go back. after that, get some good batteries and then try a .4ohm dual coil setup, it hits like a hammer. but i would recommend messing sub ohm until your comfortable with it. if you never get those odys to work for you ill take one of your hands for sure.

The juice control being way open could be part of the reason you are not getting enough out of the Odys. If too much juice floods your wires/ wicks vs the heat being produced you will get sub par performance. The lower your resistance more juice is needed to keep up with the heat. If the resistance is around 2.0 less heat, less juice needed.

the gauge of your wires can contribute to the performance, thicker wire, longer time needed to heat up. THinner wire faster heat up. The best atomizer is only as good as the way its built. Many factors can add to it, diameter of the silica vs the thickness of your juice, too tight of a wrap may choke the wick, etc. etc.

Thats my experience at least.

On my Oddy's I use 30 gauge with 3mm wick and only 3 wraps, I don't know what the ohm's but it really does not matter, thats what works for me and allways gives me a good vape. Plus I only use one NR wire and let the other wire rest in the wick channel without a problem, works perfect.

Do you still have the other non res lead? Just tucked in not grounded? or no other lead all together?

Just ordered some panosonic batterys also, might be a little better than my Efest IMRs
