Ody help please !

I cant get my ody to work. I have now built 4 coils and still the same thing. When I put it on my provari I get e1 error message. Cant get it to fire. Put it on ego and silver bullet with the same outcome. Watched Scott's videos and Phil's and am doing everything exactly the same. What am I doing wrong?

Side note... My ody has a metal channel on one side of the ceramic channel where in all the videos I have watched they don't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using the probes on your multimeter work your way up the Ody until you locate what is causing the short.

With the new metal piece holding the ceramic, make sure you run the piece you connect to the center pin down the channel with the ceramic. The other piece of wire runs down the metal channel that doesn't have the ceramic and is connected with the lock screw.
