I was just wondering, I purchased a couple of center posts just now, and noticed that they look like the V1 not the V2. Do you think that maybe its just an older photo? Im hoping it is. Didnt notice the different connection till after I purchased. I posted on the COV forum and hope that maybe they see it and let me know. Of course I figure here is where the experts are. Im sure Imeo would know if he sent V1 or V2 parts to COV

I just looked on cov's site and yes its a V1 center post ana. But its better than V2 post because you can use Ody on UFS too, something you cant do with V2 center pin. I just changed the center pin because people were braking them. The reason was that they were trying to screw the center pin with the nut inside ceramic by putting a screwdriver to the center pin's slot. Thats why I changed it. I didnt want people spend money even if it was their mistake
I was just hoping that it was not going to be prone to leaking. I heard V1 had some propensity to leaking if things were not on correctly. My Odysseus has never leaked or flooded, so I just didnt want to have it happen if it had anything to do with the pins. Thanks Imeo. I now know the difference and maybe Bruce can clarify that on the site.
Hello Imeo, will you be making V2 center Pins? Not sure if the were on the last pre-order. If there will be some going out in a week or so, I rather wait for V2 center pins. center pin has nothing to do with leakage my dear, no worries. It will work exactly as your V2 Ody
oh well, just got the confirmation that the order shipped, they are fast. Faster than they are to get back to me with the cancellation of the parts. No problem, I should have no problem finding someone to buy the center post or send them back to COV.
As I said those pins are better than the new ones if you dont put your screwdriver in wrong place, so I suggest you to keep them ana. You will never find them again available
I think you will get the V2 center pins, maybe it's just that COV has an outdated picture on the site.
Will do gttb, figured someone might need them. Plus kept thinking about all the times people break or loose things and I could come to someones rescue. Didnt really see it as total blunder on my part.
I will keep my fingers crossed and maybe they will be V2s.

I dont dont know if its just me, but I wish I could get the other style center posts, most of the ones I have are the other style, and I like to have everything matching, if anyone want to trade a few of the new ones for the straight style center posts, contact me
