I agree with ripple... you couldn't pay me to vape that crap

I thought the same thing about it the first few times I vaped it but all my friends loved it right off the bat. I kept trying it here and there and something happened and it grew on me.

I agree its not bad tasting in the ody just not the same flavor at all. Its just a little strange because other juices like gorilla juice for example taste the same in the ody. it is better tasting and more clear with more vapor but its the same flavor in general.

i was having the same issue with boba's. what i found that works for me is i wrap a dual coil around a double wick at the top single wicks down the sides. vape it with the juice flow open all the way taste is great, alot cleaner than a china atty and monster throat hit. i am pleased with it, boba's is and always was my main vape

Looks like im gonna have to attempt a dual coil over the weekend. Did u do yours just like the video? (other than adding the double wick on top)

wfar to answer your question i did it just like the video minus adding the top piece of wick. Havnt tried it yet with the xc-116

and i am using fine silver .999 no resistance and kanthal a-1 32 gauge

I use BB exclusively in my Ody, and its taken me quite a while to get it figured out.

First let me say I have used the iAtty since it came out, with BB, and its really good. I anxiously waited for the Ody for months but have had a rough time getting the same vapor and flavor out of it that I did from the iAtty, until using the following iAtty trick.

I tried tweaking the ohms, and several other ideas that I thought would fix the problem, and give me the pleasure that I have with my iAtty. The problem is the short amount of wick accessible to your juice. The trick to fix it is very easy and very effective, it allows a lot more juice to make it on to the wick and hence the coil. The end result is a richer, smoother, fuller vape.

The trick is as follows:
Make your wick and coil but DO NOT tuck in your wick. Instead of tucking your wick in the slots and then attaching it to the base, attach the top and bottom and leave the wick out of the bottom. Take your long wick ends and leave them out side of the ground "ring". Let the top "cone" mouthpiece hold the wick in the slots, nothing else, the wick will be free to float in your tank full of juice. You can adjust it just like you usual would, and its perfect. Just take care to make sure the positive wire is not making contact with the ground "ring" since the wick will not be covering it up.

If you need a picture let me know, but its the same idea as the iAtty used, all of the wick is in the juice.

I hope this helps.

Ok guys i need some feedback. I have no problem setting up the iatty or the odysseus at whatever ohn im looking for. what i do have trouoble with is getting the only juice i use on a regular basis to taste right in the odysseus (or any rebuild-able for that matter). Any of you boba-heads been able to get it to taste like it does out of an atty or carto? I want this to work because it looks so good on my new SS Stealth but i keep going back to the UFS. Ive beenusing .999 silver wire and the Kanthal off of ebay along with the wick from COV. has anyone has success with this same combo using boba's bounty. Im wondering if even after my thorough cleaning the is something throwing off the taste or if its just how it tastes with that wick.

Tx so much! If you don't mind, i'd love to see a picture as I am a visual learner.

My wick is about a day old and I'd like to use it until it needs to be replaced before taking a picture. If I have a computer available to re-size the photo I'll try getting a picture up.
When the whole wick is done the wick protrudes from between the ground "ring" and the mouthpiece just like the iAtty does. It works %100 from start to finish of your tank of liquid, lots of warm, moist, rich, tasty vapor.

Try it, if its not for you, no problem, nothing has been modified.

Yes you can completely close the mouthpiece, and it does not effect the wicks performance in any way that I've noticed. When the vape seems to be getting dry or hot, open the mouthpiece up a quarter turn and its right back to fresh-tasting vapor.

I do not have any flooding problems at all doing the wick this way. In fact I have less flooding because I'm not opening the mouthpiece up to much trying to get more juice, hence having a flood of juice which can't be vaped with out clearing out the excess.

Hey Poppa, how do you avoid the flooding during refilling? Do you still screw down the mouthpiece all the way? If so, does the complete pinching of the wick affect its performance later? Thanks.

if you want to totally avoid the overflooding, just screw very slow the small upper cap Vapor
