The short answer, neither. Efest are well known to mislabel and exaggerate specs on their batteries. The 2500 mAh has a 20 amp continuous discharge rate, the 3100 mAh has a 10 amp CDR. Neither are really suitable for a high power mod. I have owned and used both and found the performance of both cells to be lacking, this is of course subjective, but the amp ratings are fact.

I would suggest the Sony VTC4 which has a 30 amp CDR and is a great performing cell.

I would suggest sony vtc 4/5 if you can find those.
There's no efest 35A they're rebranded batteries.

What brand is the 3100 20a?
Altho i still would suggest the sonys due they're so reliable.

Edit:

Funny we posted at the same time. ^^

I just started using samsung 25r's in a 100w plus.
I will never go past 35-40 watts most likely.

Been pulling them at 50% and checking them on DMM and they are consistently coming off at 3.58v. Reading 4.18 when put in.
Seem to be breaking in, they have had a couple of charge/ discharges and seem to last me a good while.
I vaped on fresh charged batteries the other night on a.5ohm coil at 30w from about 5pm till 11ish and noticed the battery charge was only at about 96%.

They seem to get good reviews, and so far are working for me, again I won't be seeing 100w

Efest brand

One is a 2500 mah 35amp
the other is a

3100 mah 20 amp

Which would you suggest would perform better in a sigelei 150w?

sonicbomb nailed the real amp limits of your batteries. If you plan to stay under 100 watts you will never draw more than 20A from each battery. If you plan to vape between 100-150 watts you will get close to 30A at 150 watts. Atty resistance has nothing to do with this, it's all about the watts.

I have a Sigelei 150 watt that I typically use at 40-65 watts but I have taken up to the max. For 20A batteries I have Samsung 25R and LG HE2. For 30A batteries I have Sony VTC4. There are authentic VTC5's on the market now but I consider them less than 30A contrary to their marketing specs.

It's important that you buy from a known good battery supplier that test their batteries themselves and will not sell counterfeits. Here's my list of the ones I trust:

Illumination Supply
RTD Vapor
Lighthound
Orbtronic
Battery Junction

I've heard very good things from the next two but I have not dealt with them myself so have no actual experience with them:

Liionwholesale.com
Imrbatteries.com

There are certainly more good suppliers out there, but as I said that is my list.

Where'd you get the vtc5's?

It's tough getting real ones and there's fakes to contend with.

Anyways

There's a few batteries I use that I'd suggest.

In order...

Vtc5's (with above mentioned caveat)
Samsung 25R
Vtc4's
LG he4
LG he2
AW 20 or 22 amp batts - very much cloned everywhere - double check your source

Don't buy batts on ebay. Go straight to reliable vendors.
