Lost my dog ... hubby fidelity issues... Ex gf issues... Son broke his arm... Finances... Work deadlines....

Needless to say been a bad last month or soo in reality... I Fell off the wagon and started a bonfire.... Up to over a pack a day due to life hitting the fan.. Personal crap just been too much dont know when or why i picked up the cigs again tho... ... Ugh...

i really just had a moment this morning nursing my third hangover this week... I started this whole vaping adventure ... To get better ... Falling into the stress of dealing with life though and not tending to my vaping supplies... Lol harder to remember to fill things up when your depressed and trashed....

So im deciding im gunna try again... Actually even found a bottle of juice and two of my x2's... Anyone else have those moments where you've slipped?

(mostly just venting in a moment of clarity here midst this sea of dark consuming moments consuming my life momentarily)

Hey MidwestMom, glad to see you here! Sorry about all the crap life has been throwing at you, but glad you found your moment of clarity. Lots of people fall off the wagon for less. I don't have any wise advice or similar story to tell, just wanted to give some support.

Vent away! Come back often for support and ((((hugs))))!

Qrx and meni thx for the responses..
Yes i suppose drinking probably helped in the downfall.... thats been something else ive been reflecting upon as well today...
Ive been in quite dealing with this in a quite self destructive manner... I think that it did lower those inhibitions always smoking and drinking were hand in hand for me...

Hi MidwestMom and Welcome back!!

So sorry for the problems that you are having but you are making the right decision to try again. A+ for you!!

We are all human and will fall down but you had the wisdom to recognize it and get back up. Please know that you can vent freely here because you are surrounded by lots of folks who care.

Glad to see you back, MMom!
The only thing that tastes worse than a hangover, is a hangover with ciggy-breath. Glad you were able to find some of your supplies.
Ya know, punishing yourself for things that you didn't do won't make those things go away or make them hurt any less. You have our permission to be good to yourself, and live as healthy as you like.
Vent at will...that can be healthy, too.:D

Sorry to hear this. I am going through some very, very serious and stressful life changing issues right now and I have not caved yet. I still have the pack of 16 sitting in the center console of my car from the last pack that I bought before my first starter kit came in back on March 5th. With all I have been going through I am seriously surprised I have not cracked into that pack. But I have refrained. Trust me the temptation has been there. I have pulled them out and held them in my hand. But I have resisted. If it wasn't for vaping I would have gone back over a month ago. I can 110% guarantee it.

Here is hoping you can get back on track. We are pulling for you.

Sorry to hear about all you are going through. First, you need support. Don't try to do it alone. You need to know people care. Depression is real, and can made a rough situation worse. Don't worry about falling off the wagon... Look for something positive, and hold on as tight as you can. I know it sounds stupid right now, but try to focus on the positive.

Last year, 2 weeks without a cigarette, and life hit the fan for me. Health problems, hurricane, 2 cars totaled, daughter tried to commit suicide, best friend in office laid off. Life sometimes just piles on. I got a little wonky. Rather than smoking, vaping sorta became my 1 thing I could control. It just made me determined to succeed. Even with the power out for a week, I found a way to keep my batteries charged, and avoid cigarettes.

Thx everyone ... a few friends out here stepped in right after I posted that I was really hitting the end of my rope... I'm not back 100% yet maybe 65 % but I'm trying ... all the support here has been great too I really think I needed to just let a little of it out

Good to hear. BTW, you have the most adorable avatar. This may be an ecig forum, but it's made up of good people. We're all cheering for you. Keep focus on the bright spots, and the things you can control. Also, as far a supplies go, BIG sale starts tomorrow... stock up. :D
