Off the wagon and back on

I havent been on here for quite some time mostly do to falling back to analogs for a while. But i am very proud of myself, im back on vaping, 8 days in. Still just as hard as the first time, but i have a new reason not to smoke!!!! My lovely girlfriend wants me to stop so here i am, and hopefully not going anywhere anytime soon

Glad your giving it another go. It's not always easy. I duel used for a while before I stopped smoking completely. Hang in there and we are all here to help.

Thanks bonskibon. I duel used my first go around. This time im sticking to it. It i smoke one ill smoke another and we cant have that. But again thanks for your support. And hopefully yall will be seeing a lot more of me

Welcome back genelbc! You can do this, it gets easier everyday. Believe it or not one day you'll wonder how you ever smoked! Just find a setup that works for you and a juice you love. Hope to see a lot more of you, stick around

Good luck. A lot of folks here have had false starts. Second time around you know it's possible because you've been there. And you know what to avoid, like that voice in your head that says, I'll just have one cig to take the pressure off. Years before vaping a guy I worked with was quitting cold turkey and he had a sign above his desk that said "The urge will pass after a while whether I smoke one or not". That's even more true when you have something else in your hand. I used to think about that sign when I had a bad moment. And I had some high nic juice on hand as well.

Good for you. Vaping replaced a nearly 60 love affair with cigars and pipes. And yes, I inhaled every puff. Not inhaling would be the same as drinking scotch and not swallowing, in my cranky 76 year old mind...what's left of it. I've been tobacco free for well over two years. Scotch? Had to give all that up in 1977, before a lot of the members here were born.

Keep us posted on your renewed journey....and always remember....whatever it was I was gonna say....NURSE!

Good luck. The way I see it is I'm not giving up smoking. I'm choosing to vape instead so if i end up having a cigarette oh well. It makes it feel less like a defeat in my eyes. Although have been properly vaping since 30th aug and have maybe had 5 cigarettes since then. They just done taste as nice as my lemonade vape juice

I dual used for a while too. Vaping seemed like an almost-good-enough-but-not-quite-there substitute for cigs back then. Then I just set a date. Hang in there - once you make it long enough you won't even be able to smoke. Vaping is far more enjoyable now than smoking ever was, and the last few times I lit a cigarette it made me feel sick and tasted awful. Keep at it and congrats!
