Well I tried putting batteries in and holding the button for about 30 seconds.. no change

Tried with 2 attys that work on everything else and worked on the EVO before it started doing this... nothing different.

I also tried a few fires without batteries. and then put them .. no capacitors resetting themselves.

I'm not sure if i said this earlier, but when you touch the top battery positive connector to the switch connector before the tube grounds to the switch, I get a very dim red glow.

After that initial dim redness and ground connection is made... you see the white/amber till you disconnect the tube.
Not sure if this happens on a working model. All I know is the first thing that should happen when the switch makes connection... the white led should flash 3 times.

With everything i buy nowadays it seems end user is the new quality control when the factory is the one that should test the living crap out of it before it gets put into a box and mailed off.

I think I am gonna lay this to rest in this forum and if you have any other Ideas..pm me.
I only "Bought" the device from canvape .. they didn't make it so this tech support thing should probably stop in the official thread. My one issue with the EVO i have is filling it up with pages of spam lol
if I have more questions for people I will do it in the mod forum and edit a link to it from one of my last posts about it.
I still love the EVO SVR! lol

The whole EVO thing, we will always play with our products to see how to fix/resolve issues except in this case because well we won't put the batteries in it Have sent a message to our rep at long totem to see what it is you are experiencing.

Side note everyone that has grabbed a stone tank II from us - it is actually a stone tank V3 and should vape better for you now that you know that. Too bad we couldn't have hyped the crap out of it if we knew that ahead of time hahaha but it is a great little tank and I use it daily now after a disappointing first few days. Serious break in and also have to watch the fill level or else your drinking your juice.

With the higher amp limit on some VV devices now we would like to know what you guys would like?
1. Stainless and Red lavatubes
2. Higher amp VV device for using LR stuff
3. Who cares? What is a VV device?

Congrats on all the growth Mopar, as for new mods, my experience with the EVO and the higher amperage makes me want to say i want more of that But that stainless steel LT is .......ing beautiful.....So i am going with #4 BOTH! I really like the stardusts, i know some folks are having issues but they are working beauty for me. Thanks for dropping by and letting us know the score, it is always fun to read your posts, serious or not.

I vote for option #4 as well I have the standard LT I want the SS LT and well 3.5a or higher VV is very nice.

Yes. Even if people have the existing LT (or mini) either of those will still be a good addition. The existing LT is still great for single coil devices of any resistance, while a higher amp device is perfect for dual coils, especially in tanks. I know when my ProVari gets back from its little upgrade trip it's going to get some serious face time with dual coils.

It's coming. I had already filmed it as a review for the ST2, but wasn't entirely happy with how it came out, so I'm going to re-film it, probably tonight, with its proper nomenclature.

And then I'll mod the crap out of it once I get some silver wire in. (Need it for the bits of wire that come out of the cup. Can't use resistance wire for that. That would be bad. )

Also just got the 808D-1 Eigate 180mAh Automatic Battery sealed Eigate..how the heck do you pronounce that?!? lol anyhoo great little battery and the rubbery feel is awesome.. Any chance they have these in 78 mm or close like the Volts? Really pleased with it and will see how it does on the battery life... also are these regulated like the volts or unregulated? Awesome job to you guys and glad to hear you're doing so well. Best of luck on the expansions

Hrrmmm well this is a fine how-do-you-do....used the V510 since last Wednesday, then today for some odd it has decided it would not want to work any more when you remove the cap there is the center ring and soft plastic spike....under that is the wick, coil etc.
Now usually when you remove the cap that center part stays inside the V510....mine has decided to disappear into nothingness. When i looked inside there was burn marks galore, which is odd as from day one of getting it, i used the same juice...i mean it was great to use....the only difference in it's use was that i started using it on a 1100mah pass through battery so between last night and this morning it went wonky. If i had a better web cam i would take pictures of what it looks like right now (should have gotten the dell with auto focus web cam PHOOEY!)
The plus side as i have seen the stardust act different on the pass through is that i am now removing the pass through from my active equipment list, and as soon as i get a volt meter (next few days) i am going to see what it is pushing out....then....mighty take it apart to see how it looks on the inside, and whatever markings in way of rating i can see inside

Yea they are pretty sweet so after we sell a few and flog some at the market because for some reason they all want the smallest battery that is the closest to a cigarette in size I will have some of the 280mAh on order. Maybe some Pink if they have them. These are the same manufacture as said company above so the batteries are exactly the same. Send Tom a line with what mAh and measurements they are and your favourite colours so we can get them for you as you are the 808 Queen of the world

They are sending me replacement switches for all the units so we will get one out to you when they arrive and if anyone else grabs one in the meantime it'll probably screw up because they are asking me the failure rate and # of units how many days they lasted crap like that.

My 1100 mah Passthrough battery charges to 4.2 volts, so it would operate on an average of 3.7 volts. I never tried the voltage when it cuts out. It is not steady 3.2 (like a Joye eGo).

helping to make sure i do my part in the economy by constantly getting replacement parts

I have checked post's, watched carefully how i put attachments on it, charged it without using it, prayed for it under the 12th moon of endore, put it in my jean jacket pocket and walked it, put papers out in case through the night it needed a potty break, talked to it, petted it, gave it winnie the pooh books to read, left dora the explorer on when i was not at home for it, etc...

only one thing left to do at this point .....which i will be attending to later tonight or tommorrow

I have a suggestion... wait for the LT or for new switches and a couple weeks after that in its probation period lol

I sure hope they figure out how to make a proper switch, connector, and electronics this time. It's not rocket science i don't think and if you can't make a proper switch, what the heck good is the pv! Oh yeah. NONE! I found that out the hard way. Hopefully those new awesome best ever never fail switches don't get stuck in customs and go back and forth for a month like everything else seems to do.

It makes me mad that they seem to be negligent... knowing they have a crap switch and is faulty, let you order them and then keep their mouths shut about it till you complain and have an issue? I can only assume that they are fully aware of this switch problem with those types of questions being asked. Not to mention 2 members in this thread alone have had switch issues and got it from another retailer. The 3V0 has version 2 switches, the EVO I got prolly is on v2... no way to really tell for sure that I know of yet other than asking others perception unless they have some side by side. Time will tell I guess. It also makes me mad that it causes you more headaches for THEIR mistakes, not to mention your customers that buy their product. People like me that decided that I would gift myself one and now have a dust collecting ss mod that's only function is a super pretty stacked battery night light and not a very good night light. Id be better off with a flashlight from dollarama lol

I put it in the tin it came in so I won't have to look at it anymore. The anticipation of getting it and being let down 2 days after experiencing what I have been looking for ever since i started this 37 days ago! argh. Can't say I will trust anything I get anymore.

I agree with you on the SS LT I will have to get someone around me addicted to vaping and talk them into taking my LT off my hands when that comes in stock!

The 3V0 only has one switch. I was referencing the version 2 switches the 3V0 retailer is selling.
