Wowzers, I gotta say I have never had anything but the most satisfactory experience talking to Tom, it seems to me that you are too quick to take offense my friend..... it also seemed to me that Adam was conciliatory in his post, and that the problem you have with said post is entirely your own interpretation and not taken in the spirit it was meant. It sounds like the only thing that will satisfy you is a direct ...-kissing, which seems unneccesary in these circumstances. Many of the people have no trouble and love to deal with the fellows over at Canvape, and from the input of the people on this forum.......their track record seems pretty full of being willing to bend over backwards to lend a hand to Canadian vapers...... just my 2 cents.

Also, when are you going to review the Stone tanks, Mindfield? Don't mean to thread-jack :)

It's filmed, just needs to be edited, rendered and posted. I'm a little behind due to work and home stuff, but it shall be up soon. I'm on vacation after tomorrow so I'll have lots of time to catch up. :)

I haven't even bought anything from them yet, and all I did was bother them with questions and Tom was kind enough to answer all my questions in a prompt manner. I haven't purchased anything from them yet but my first interaction with them was a feel good one. Sorry to hear of your problems but perhaps he was having an off day? *shrugs* just my pennies from experience

Just got a Lavatube and some cartos from CanVape. I wanna say that their customer service and communication was simply divine. They replied to my emails almost instantaneously, allowed for local pickup, and Adam really went out of his way to make sure that I was a happy customer. These guys now have my business for life. I can't wait for them to get some juice.

If you were ever on the fence about who or where to buy from, then get off that fence .. go to canvape, it's a no-brainer.

On a tiny sidenote, the driptip that came with the lavatube does not fit the atty that came with the LT. The rubber ring is sorta too big or too loose.

Did you forget about this post necrovale?? Just because a that time they couldn't do a local pickup doesn't mean anything. Local P/u's are an above and beyond thing that not many suppliers do on a regular basis and you simply would have had to send an e-mail to see if there was a different or cheaper method of shipping for someone local instead of worrying about paying $15. Speaking as a consumer if I ever found Tom or Adam's e-mail offensive by any means then I would have brought it to their attention right away. If a vendor goes above and beyond for me consistently then I don't take offense if they can't the odd time as I know I will still get at least 100%. We as consumers can expect too much sometimes and take the "over and above" for granted. That is why it is called over and above and we can't expect it all the time from any business nor get upset when we don't get it.

I am sorry that you didn't have a over and above experience but I can tell you that I know any business you have given or directed Canvape's way has been more than appreciated and this situation could have been handled quick and appropriately with a simple PM right from the start.

Relax and take a vape! Think about how many times Tim Horton's or Mcdonald's, or the pizza place have screwed up your order and you had to drive back. It's worse when they forget the ketchup! See? There are much worse things in life :)

they got really big and started to treat people like they are cattle. Perhaps as Adam mentioned, they started to get a lot of orders and Tom at that time felt like I didn't deserve their usual good treatment, because they already have a lot of customers.

And it's not simply about the fact that they wouldn't allow me to do a local pickup. It's about the fact that I said that I picked up from Adam before and I didn't know where the 400 flea market is, and I'm afraid I might have to switch vendors, if they no longer offer local pickup, and the reply I got back from Tom was along the lines of .. okay great! See ya ..

He could've simply said, here's the address of the flea market, or call us back in two weeks.
I did dig up Adam's cell phone number and tried to call him to resolve this, and I got no answer and no call back.
The purpose of my posts on this thread is two fold:

1- To tell Adam and others at Canvape that I have been mistreated, and hope that someone would care to resolve this.
Unfortunately, instead of an apology or resolution, I got a reply about pube trimming and spaceships.

2- To tell others that it is not all rainbows and butterflies with canvape, and that out of two transactions with canvape, I had an excellent one, and a horrible one.

You are repeating yourself and I personally think you are been unreasonable. Please resolve this outside of this thread with Adam directly via PM or email. Thanks.

Where else do you find the lowest prices and dudes willing to get hardware in stock on their customers callings?

And as for the 400 market,google is your friend!

Unfortunate incident,agreed...but from now on you got all the tools required to get the good stuff without a hiccup.

P.S.

I wait until I have a somewhat big order before i contact them so its worth the $10 of shipping.

It isn't very hard to look up where that market is. It comes up as the first result if you google 400 market or 400 flea market. Tom told you they wouldn't be doing local pick ups and you could go to the 400 market if you wanted. If you are paraphrasing the emails accurately, you than said you didn't know where the market is, and that you would take your business elsewhere if you couldn't do a local pick up. You didnt ask where the market was, you just threatened to shop elsewhere. What kind of response do you expect after that? Thought he would cave and arrange a pickup for you? I think "okay great! see ya!" is pretty good under the circumstances.

Also, mopar did apologize to you. He also said they are very busy, and couldn't do the local pickup at the time. That isn't a service they have to offer. He also said they have a new employee that can do them at certain times now. How is that not a resolution? Talking about his pubes isnt very professional, but mopar is vulgar like that, it isnt a attack against you. I don't see what else you could want from them.

I am sure that is not the case. You are being too sensitive over the matter. We vapers (and i know most will agree with me) are extremely demanding. If a vendor can not guarantee local p/u's and you say that is the only way they will maintain your business then what other option are you leaving them anyways. It wouldn't be fair for them to make exceptions for p/u's for you and no one else. I am sure they have a mass amount of ppl trying to get p.u's which as you can see with his response, they recognized and are working to accomodate the requests.

Adam has stated on here time and time again when they have been overloaded and he has been very good with the updates so people know if they get an abrupt short answer or a slight delay with responses that they know the reason.

I am sure you have never had a problem with any of the chat on here before, we are a down to earth casual bunch so to speak and as you can see we speak pretty freely on this thread. If Adam's or our humor wasn't funny to you then fine... each to their own but his message stated much more than that so I am surprised as you didn't notice all the other content such as......

He did address your issue

He spoke of what has been happening with their challenges and what they have been doing and what they have done to remedy the situation (such as hiring another employee for Mon to Fri p/u's and the 400 market for weekends so now you can p.u 7 days a week)

He tried to add a bit of humor to keep it light and make us smile,

He stated that you were welcome to PM him on here and or send him a personal e-mail and his concerns with why you were standoffish in doing that after he went above and beyond on your first meet. (His door was obviously more than open to you)

He then stated their goal and he DID apologize.

That is more than satisfactory to me, I am sorry it wasn't for you. Quit focusing on pube trimming and spaceships as that is not the only content in that message and that is just being extremely petty in my opinion.

Adam has stated that he is more than welcome to a PM from you and he wished you had sent him one from the start, but you have not done that yet but I have seen you have posted everything in the negative reviews instead so I am sure you will hear from him within a couple days on that part of the forum.

I suggest we now continue on with our regular chat as the complaint has been logged in the appropriate section of the forum and there is no need to continue this any further in this section. If anyone is needing to discuss further I am more than happy to receive PM's or you can e-mail or PM Tom or Adam.

Anyway no more time for this, guys just let it slide please and thank you. This was before we even added local pick up's on Friday and Monday. I can assure you that even a supporter in this thread that lives close was told no to a pick up and had his order deleted once or twice before coming to the market where we hung out we chatted and became friends. If anyone doesn't want to treat our transactions in good faith and as a friendship we don't want their business. Since our paypal account has been cancelled we even take cheques from our customers that we know well and have no EMT and they send them AFTER their goods are received. Taco bell isn't going to let you eat your taco then pay for it. We do so please don't compare us to some "big business" that just wants your money or we would have gotten our user base raised our prices and ignored what is the right thing to do.

As everyone knows if anyone has a problem with anything we will fix it. If anyone has a VALID complaint we will address it. As far as expecting a service that is not offered and done when we can, too bad. Don't care and won't ever. Our mission is to provided Canadian vapers with a steady supply of affordable vape goods. Not to drive around meeting with people that don't want to deal online with an online business. At the expense of not having the required time to ship goods around the country that people have already paid for and expect in a timely fashion.

P.S. my pubes aren't really that long and I don't own a spaceship :) but I want one.

Just have to say that I received my usual absolutely sterling service from Adam and Tom in the mail today. Ordered a crap load of kanger cartos and then they had the nerve to toss in a Stardust just to mess with me!! How dare they? Just when I think I have stocked myself up with the only thing that I really like consistently, they have to do something like that! OMG, that Stardust rocks! Isn't even properly broken in yet and I am in heaven! I can see that there is no hope for it ... am going to have to order more of these come payday and ... my beloved kangers are now in danger of becoming 'the backup plan'. :)

Hey Fisher, i am having really good luck with my SD`s as well, I think i got them over a month ago and they have been the ONLY thing i have been vaping on since i bought them.

Great to hear that, therealmac! Looking forward to having the same experience myself. They are just so dead easy to use and the vapor production is amazing. Funny but I never had any of the 'funny taste' with the breaking in phase. It hit the flavor dead on right off the bat. Yep ... am thinking I'm going to have to build up a little stockpile of these all right! :)
