My DH and I have this duncan Phyfe table we inherited 4 years ago and hate it! It always separates about 2 inches when we eat where the leaves should be. It a total PITA and we are always having to push it back together and getting pinched.
So last night we had new friends, a couple over for the first time. When we sat down to eat the table split, DH and I went in to how bad we hate it and are always fighting it. So she bent down twisted something and the table magically closed and stayed that way We about died.

My kids stayed up for the first time last night to watch the ball drop. They also just learned(thanks to my 9 year old, ugh) that balls was a term for a mans...crown jewels? Lol anyway, the first reply I got when I asked if she wanted to watch the ball drop was "eww!" I do believe the word is forever skewed for her.

I am so blessed. I have a loving, hard-working husband, three kids that are awesomely behaved and healthy, an awesome mother in law, a loving grandma and a mom that likes me(this is good for her. Lol). What I don't have in quantity pertaining to my family they more than make up for with quality. We are not extremely rich in funds but you would be hard pressed to find a family more rich with love. I am eternally grateful for this.

When I was young (maybe @ 5), my parents had given me a record player and my mother took me to a record store so she could buy me an album. I remember I wanted a Kiss album but she wouldn't buy it for me and talked me into the Beach Boys instead.

Tuesday will be 1 year cig free and I'm so FREAKING excited and proud...I never thought I'd ever be tobacco free much less achieve it so painlessly. Yes, it was hard at times but I never really suffered like previous failed attempts. Thank you ECF!

It is cold, icy, snowy, windy. I hate it!!!!!!!

I guess the good new is that I am not out living in it like some are.

I just looked at the extended forecast for North West Washington. Rain, snow, rain, clouds.... Need to sit in front of the happy light for awhile ! The scenery is beautiful here, but man, the grey gets tiresome.

It is cold, icey, snowy, windy. I hate it!!!!!!!

I guess the good new is that I am not out living in it like some are.

I love a beautiful sky with all different types of clouds. Big fluffy white clouds, lots of small clouds, white mixed with black clouds, they are all beautiful and unique!

In three days it will be my one year anniversary of my diagnosis of brain cancer. This is my second go round. What should have been one of my worst years turned out to be one of my best. I dealt with chemo/radiation and several surgeries. But I also extended my vapey family and met the man of my dreams in the Vaping Twitterverse. Hoping that this year will include being cancer free and a very vapey wedding.

#1 I'm an Aquarius so I love the water. I like to take my kayak out and enjoy the peace and quiet of floating on water. Just sitting still, bobbing up and down with the waves is very relaxing until a tanker or cruise ship goes by but then that can be fun too, riding the swells like a roller coaster ride.
