NOT AN ENTRY...I have to share this joke..it's clean but so true.
One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.
Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.
Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.
And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

I'm very sorry BLUE and I hope you are feeling a little less blue yourself. We miss them so much.
Time does help some. Just get a little blue around this time she was a great dog. What helped out the most was getting our new puppy(LOL) Max he is a Great Pyrenees with a full dark brown mask. He was a rescue dog from Save our Strays in VT. He came from IN and took 4 rides for him to get to VT. The vet said he was 8 months to a year old (puppy LOL). Now he standes 32" tall and 130 lbs (puppy LOL) and will be his first year with us in February. He has helped with the blues. He is one big nut of a dog.

I got a phone call today from the convalescent home. Apparently my grandfather had refused to do physical therapy. In the course of the conversation it came up that today was homemade cookie day...WHEW got another call later on that said he hijacked a wheelchair and wheeled himself to the cookie tray. Physical Therapy DONE

I refuse to worry about money. I have been both poor and well off and although life is easier when you are well off you often miss the little things that make it so special. So I decided many years ago to just let the big guy in the sky worry about that and by golly I am still here and doing fine.
