Hairball: OMG what a ordeal for you! The only thing I had similar to that was a VV passthru-not purchased from ecigexpress. (Just want to note that!) It smoked and caused a puter to fry. Luckily, hubs had bought me a pair of those gloves that one can handle items to 450 degress.

For heat we burn wood pellets. Best form of heat next to a wood stove. But much easier then firewood. About a 40 lbs. bag a day. Toasty warm!

Me too! Every sentence needs one! Then you think, if I put an exclamation point behind every sentence aren't you taking away the emphasis from the sentence and making them all the same?

Hairball, thank goodness for your good sense of smell and quick thinking. I am so glad everything turned out alright and I definitely second not leaving heaters on, or even plugged in, when you leave the house!

Everytime I see Yeah_its_me's avatar, I see a male appendage first before I realize it's a praying mantis.

I'm grateful you caught that in time hairball and impressed that you did your own electrical work!

I am sad that isbn feels bad that Mrs Casey is sad that sky dragon is sad that isbn felt sad that he would never be an astronaut. I think the aliens will be quite happy with him though!
