They have a recessed connector compatible with the ego. They work great on an ego style battery or on our indulgence. Anything else will require an adapter.

sorry if this has been asked before but are the buttons on the indulgence v3 mechanical? im highly considering buying this mod in the near future. does anyone have any input on how durable they are/ any vent holes or other physical safety features?

SaltySharkToes, I will happily tell you that the Indulgence V3 is a work horse. The Switch is machanical, and mine has yet to fail me! I have dropped mine more times then I would admit with no ill effect.
With a single AW IMR 18650 you'll be vaping at a true 3.7volts pretty much all day, kick it up a notch and put in two RCR123 3.2 volt batteries and your being hit with a warm 6.4 volts of pure pleasure.
If I can answer any questions, just ask and I'll do my best for you.

vaping my Indulgence at 6.4 volts - 2.0 ohm smoke tec in a tank full of RY4 at 32mg

Three vent holes in base cap for venting if need be.
