Oh belieb you me babys when I see a snake dats longer den my car I AIN'T GETTIN OUTS !!Right here on the main road by me I saw one that the head was just going into the side of the road and the tail end hadn't even crossed into the road yet ! Dam straight I slowed down cuz I wasn't gonna run over it and have that thing get tangled up under my car !
I have no idea what kind it was but it was longer then a two lane road wide
Iffin it was kinda big around it probably was a Burmese Python.

Back in my younger days of raising horses it was always exciting to have an Appaloosa mare foal. You never knew what color pattern you were going to get. Prolly just as exciting fer dem snakes

Would they leave a snake slither track in the sand that's like a wavy 5"-6" wide swale ? I seen a snake track on MY road one time that was that large right by my house. I always wondered what kind it may have been. The smaller trails are common but that one huge one kinda made me watch where I walked after that It might have been a young burmese. Last winter/fall. I haven't been walking up and down my roads much anymore. I used to walk 5 miles a day around here is all endless dirt road paths. I became aware of some one following me in the distance and after a few days of changing my route he still was there and getting closer all the time. Gave me the creeps. He didn't wear shoes either strange enuff. I always saw his barefoot prints right next to mine the next time I went out. So I stopped going for a few weeks. Then one day a sherriffs car pulled up to my gait and stuck a paper in the post. I went out to get that paper and it was a pic of a wanted sex offender. That totally freaked me out

and yeah a few weeks later they caught him. Out back in these woods you can set up camp and it'd take a long time for some one to find you. I've stumbled across several old camps (not used anymore) where people have been out here before. They leave their trash and move on but some little lean-to type shelters and campfire rings still visible etc. Kinda makes ya wonder who is where when you're outside at nite tho The ole man has a FIT if I ever mention going for a walk now a days

Mrs Max knows how to handle a gun well, we used to go out shooting all the time.
I wouldn't want you to shoot anyone but if it came down to it.....well you know.
When we went camping or overnight fishing we would have a couple guns at the ready just in case.
