Hey guys i recently got some 18350s for my mini 2.5, they fit a lot tighter than the 18490s in my standard and in the mini (w/ extension).

Is this normal? I feel like the tight fit might block the vent hole?
What brand are they? I've never noticed that with my AW 18350's.

Efest red :x

They fit but the spring seems a bit more compressed. Every other battery the fire button will blink when I insert it, when the cap is about halfway screwed in. With these it blinks before I even begin to screw it in

Sounds like they are longer, that's not such a big deal, are they tight against the inside of the tube? Probably not, you should be OK with those, I've used them in the past without incident, you may just want to keep an eye on your spring and once in a while give it a little stretch. It's also a good idea to purchase some extra springs form ProVape, I change mine out after about a year.

Wondering if someone could chime in before I make a new thread in the appropriate sub;

I got two of these efests, one I have been vaping a bit and it's been fine. It read 3.8 new, now it's 3.5. The second one I popped in my charger (efest xsmart single channel), had it on there for about 4 and a half hours waiting for it to turn green and it never did. I took it off and checked it in my provari and it read 3.8?? Check it a few more times and now it's reading 3.6.

Not sure what to do now, is it bad? Should i try vaping on it?

These have efest imprinted on the negative end. Never seen that before.

*NEW* AW IMR 18350 3.7v 800mAh

^^^ that^^^ is what I would do. Never seen any battery "imprinted " on the negative terminal.

Have you been able to charge other batteries on that charger ?

10% Flash sale at the Mothership.

FLASH10
Perfect time to pick up those last few odds'n'ends.

I'm pretty sure that I've read that I'm right. But, just in case, is this P3 extension ring compatible with the 2.5?

Maybe post some pics of them in the battery sub-forum, Batteries and Chargers somebody there might know what you have.
Actually think it could be the charger. Doesn't seem to be charging my 18490s either. Yikes.

Any one have a charger recommendation? Single bay is fine

For the price, XTAR VP2 is a great charger, and it's a dual bay.
A bunch of us here bought them a while ago, and they've been serving us fine.

Just pay attention to the model name.

V P 2

Or VP4 (same thing but 4 bay).

Amazon has them affordable and to your door quickly.

Went with the provari dual channel charger. Also picked up a tank ring and a few extra springs as per some recent suggestions :) why not 3$ off

And ordered a xtar mc1 on prime which should be here sat to last me until the provape order comes. Seems like a nice little travel option

I have enjoyed the Radius now for some time (powers an Erlkoenigen at 1 ohm). The recent flash sale helped me pull the trigger on a Dragon 2.5 with cap and P3 cap. I figure it will either:
  • match well with a Kayfun 4 (P3), Kabuki (510), or Nautilus X, or
  • Be a nice gift for someone using a Nautilus
All depends on how attached I get to it. Given the reputation the 2.5 has for robustness, the Dragon with a metal clad Nautilus sounds like the perfect out and about take anywhere setup.
