Happy Look Alike Day

When : Always April 20th

Oh Boy! It's Look Alike Day. Time to look like somebody else.....copycat.

Today's a day to find someone you really look up to, and try to look like them. Start with the hair. Cut and style your hair, as needed, to look like the person you've selected to look like. Then, select items from your wardrobe (or buy some new clothes!) that your lookalike wears. Along the way, make sure to practice and copy their walk, their talk, and their facial expressions. In other words. try to be as identical to that person as possible.

Who should you look like? Anyone you want. Its as simple as that. Pick an actor or actress, a singer, a politician, family member or friend.

Look alike contests and parties are a great idea for today.

Most Famous Look Alikes (Impersonators): Elvis Presley, The "King". Also, current and past presidents.

Happy Kindergarten Day

When : Always April 21st

It's Kindergarten Day. The first day at Kindergarten is a memorable, exciting, nervous, and anxious time for mother and child. Most children and mothers will never forget the first day at Kindergarten. Hopefully, it was a good experience for all!

Kindergarten Day is celebrated in honor of Friedrich Froebel. He was born on this day in 1782. In 1837, he started the first Kindergarten in Germany. It became popular quickly. Kindergartens were originally a 1/2 day to get children acclimated into learning, social interaction, and school, in a fun, yet educational manner. Kindergarten has evolved in most areas into a full time program. This is partly the result of increasing pressures on education, and partly due to the increase in working mothers in America.

Celebrate today with a trip down memory lane. Pull out the old pictures of you and/or your child's first day at Kindergarten.

Happy Pig in a Blanket Day

When : Always April 24th

Pig in a Blanket Day is a day to eat a sausage wrapped in a pancake. Why? Because that's what "Pig in a Blanket" is.

Somebody, somewhere decided that this was a very special treat to them. So, they created a special day to celebrate this culinary delight. Aren't you glad that they did?

How does one go about celebrating Pig in a Blanket Day? Cook up some sausage. Make some pancakes. Wrap the sausage inside of the pancake. Add maple syrup. Then, chow down.

Origin of "Pig in a Blanket Day":

Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this day. Restaurants sometimes hold a "Pig in a Blanket" special. The roots of this day may have come from a restaurant breakfast promotion.

Really, I stopped by to say I finally got around to trying the blueberry sample and - WOW this stuff is a great vape! I don't do many fruit flavors at all, so this one was a big surprise! Thanks Rich

And yes, French Toast is still the awesomer-est!!

Have a great day everyone! :)
