I just ordered the KGO (in pink) from Hoosier E Cig Supply after reading about it. I also got a couple of flavors e juice, drip tip, cartomizer and something else I can't remember. I JUST found out about e-cigs 3 days ago and I've bought my kit, my hub a kit and now another kit. I'm in TROUBLE! lol!
Anyway...any tips and tricks would be welcome as I don't know a thing about what I just bought. The cartomizers didn't come filled (?) and that confuses me. Never dripped and don't even know how to. What's better, dripping or carts? (Hope I got that abbreviation right)

Congratulations on the Kgo. You won't have to drip, except to taste new flavors, since you bought the cartos.

Search YT and watch several methods of filling cartos, condom, syringe, drip, etc and you will be already as soon as it arrives. Your husband will think you are a pro........LOL

All you will have to do, once it is charged, is screw the filled (well filled) carto onto the battery, put on the drip tip, and take a long, slow drag. If you like the flavor, you are all set. If you don't like the flavor, the hunt begins for that perfect all day juice. Now that's the really hard part.........

Trust Me, Dearme is lying about that being the hard part. You will find that using the device is the easy part. Finding that one juice that you really like, is what turned out to be the hardest challenge for me. Hell, I'm still trying to find that right juice. I have a couple that I like but I would be lying if I told you that I'm not constantly shopping for that one spectacular juice.

Definetly check out You Tube. Lots of good videos on there, that will show you how to get set up. Just do a search for:

Filling 510 Cartomizers
Dripping with Atomizer

Good Luck

WoW MadKat! You just jumped right in didn't ya! :) Until you get your PV it may be a good idea to read the The ECF Library A lot of very good information for you so that when you have your kit in hand, you'll know what to do with it, to a point. It's not going to really hit home though until you have your PV and can see and touch everything. I don't think I'd worry about dripping or anything else until you give yourself some time to learn about your PV. Yup, you're going to make a bunch of mistakes early on, we all do. Underfilled / overfilled cartos, not knowing when to top up your carto, not knowing when to replace your carto, wondering why you're not getting any vapor and the list goes on.

These things are pretty forgiving and not as complex as you may think right now. They don't break easily. They are not delicate and can be usd with ease after you learn the basics. Just like you did with analogs. Let me also suggest a couple of videos that I found to be very helpful. I know you're excited and apprehensive about the journey you're about to take. That's normal and you're gonna be fine. It's fun!

If we're at different methods, you should probably at least look up two others - the syringe method and the "Taryn spin". I personally only use syringes for all my filling and refilling. I'm not sure why it isn't more popular, I can't find any downside to it, except maybe a little safety issue if you're not careful. I strongly advise you to read this first. The main point to not miss is that even if you use a blunt tip needle you should observe the same precautions.

I like the syringe fill to but only on bigger cartos like the XXXL DCC. For the smaller cartos like the Boge I find it's difficult to get the needle down past the polyfil and end up messing up the polyfil . I like the condom method for those. Also I highly recommend low resistance artos on the KGO. I have a kgo too and found the Boge LR to be the best hit and flavor. When it comes to ejuice I wasted SOOOO much money on juices that were either just OK or terrible. most just did not have enough flavor in them for me which I'm finding a lot of other newbie feel the same. If you find that to be the case for you then you HAVE TO try Kick Bass Vapor and Mrs T's. However Kick Bass is a lot cheaper so I'd try them first. I would have saved a lot of money if I had. Instead I watched and read a ton of reviews and bought what everyone swore was good and full of flavor and was completely unsatisfied. Now I love my juices from Kick bass Vapor. Mrs T's is really good too but I can only afford to buy her juices on occasion. Both make a superb sugar cookie and snickerdoodle!!! Good Luck, Congrats on the quiting smoking, and Enjoy vaping!!:vapor:
