Hey everyone,

As par the recommendations of several members, I decided to order my first e-cig. I placed an order for a chrome KGO from hoosier e-cig supply today and it should arrive by the end of the week. I was wondering if anyone had some input with my selection of liquid-administration systems (?). I bought 2 XXXL 1.5ohm clear dual coil smok-tech cartomizers, a normal drip tip, and a few normal smok tech 1.5ohm dual coil cartos. In addition with the cartridges/attys that come with the KGO kit, I figured that I'd have a pretty decent range of options to start out with. I was looking for some EMDCCs, but they were sold out when I placed my order.

What do you guys think?

Hi Dmadd, Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. I would say you have chosen wisely because you have quite a good list of highly reguarded products there. Plus add to that the fact that you already have passed the "it has to look like an analog" stage. I'm sure you will enjoy all your picks. Just remember to post back to let us know what You think. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

I don't want to rain on your parade - I'm writing this more for others who are on the fence and see this. I'm totally stoked that you got a KGO, but I just don't like Hoosier's deal on the KGO.

The reason I ordered my KGO from DarkCityVapor is because it didn't come with a company logo on the battery (who wants to advertise for free? It's not like Hoosier makes the KGO, SLB does) and it came with 10 cartomizers instead of 2 atomizers and 5 pre-filled cartridges. Cartridges, in my opinion, are kind of on the outdated side so I figured why even get them. Plus they would likely be tainted with some really cheap juice so that makes them even more useless in my mind. I got my KGO in 2 days flat, shipped from NC to Ohio. If you use coupon code: ECFDCV you get 5% off your order. Orders of $65.00 or more are free shipping. On top of that Bill at DCV is there on the site ready to answer any questions you may have, seemingly at all times of day, via instant chat. I had some questions at 4am and he was there to eagerly answer them. He's also pretty good at small talk :)

You may find that dual coils don't work as well as they could on a KGO. They are more for high voltage vaping. Also smoktechs are nice but they tend to burn the polyfill if you don't keep them wet which leads to shorter life. I've seen a bunch of them torn apart and they have holes burned clean through the polyfill. I like BOGE cartos because if you let it get dry it's not going to burn out as fast as a smoktech which makes them better for newbies. I have heard of BOGEs lasting 6 months or longer. It's probably all a matter of personal preference so don't get discouraged, you're going to quit smoking either way. I quit the second I got my KGO. I'm just telling you this stuff for the future or for if you recommend your KGO to someone else.

You can make your own tank for free to give the system a try: Home made DIY Carto Tank Mod - YouTube

If you find that your cartos aren't working well for you at low voltage you can make a 5v USB passthrough for cheap: VapeTalk - How to Make a 5V Passthrough for $4 - YouTube
