Does any one know if the provape-1 uses the same charger for its batteries?
Yep. it uses the same charger, though the recommended batteries are a hair larger than the ProVari's. 16500 vs. 16490. Beyond that I don't know much, as I've always used the extension cap and 18650 batteries on my ProVari.

Actually, the Provape-1 uses 14500 (14mm diameter x 50mm length), whilst the Provari uses an 18490/500 battery (18mm diameter x 49/50mm length). The Provape-1 is much skinnier due to the smaller battery. Nonetheless, if you use most chargers like the Nitecore, Tenergy, Efest, etc., they are all designed to handle the different diameters and lengths of these batteries.

Now im having remorse, i shoulda got black.
Im thinking i want the provape1 in the future especially this summer, the beach, the park.

You'll get over it. Satin sliver with blue are my favorite. They go with everything and don't show wear. You can always wrap them for variety or get a sleeve.
