Gotta give it up to the Habs... they beat the regular-season, scoring champs in round 1... and the defending, Stanley Cup champs in round 2... and they seemed to do it all with class and style...

Seriously, along with their spirit and talent, I think their biggest asset was being an 8th seed... I can tell you with certainty they were underestimated by the Pens and their fans...

And TBH, I have no problem tipping my hat to the Habs and I'll be rooting for them to win the Cup!

So, with a touch of sadness for my Pens, I have to say...

GO HABS!!

Besides, the thought of either Boston or Philly representing the East in the final makes me frikking ill...

Thank you very much for your comments and candour, extremely classy :D

Being from Cole Harbour, Sidney's home town where I watched him grow up and play, Pittsburgh was a team to root for when my Habs where not involved. But Sidney showed me a side of him that I didn't know existed. I hope it was all out of frustration and just part of the game, time will tell I guess.

My second favourite team after the Habs have been the Bruins, since I was a kid. I would prefer to see Boston win, because the Flyers have gained momentum, not something I wish to see as an oponent. However, in retrospect it would be nice to see the Habs sweep the Flyers in 4 like the Flyers did against the Habs 2 years ago. That being said, regardless who plays them it is going to be a good series.

Chicago/Ducks---- Ducks in 5-6

The only opponent that frustrated the Pens more than Montreal did in that series was the NJ Devils... but we didn't see them in the playoffs, so I'm sure Montreal frustrated the whole team much more... :(

And being somewhat new to hockey, I'm happy to report I completed my first, full season of fan-ness! I listened to or watched every game this year... but I have to admit... the humility of the players and the frenetic pace of playoff hockey really sucked me in... oh, and the classiness of the Pens organization.

We'll get you next year, Habs! :)
