I haven't smoked since friday!! This is most definitley the best thing since dinosaur chicken nuggets:)
This is the first time in 4 years that ive been 3 and a bit days without a smoke.. whats more its sooooo easy I dont even feel like I want an analogue cigarette. I prefer vaping to smoking a billion times. mah 901 is arriving today :) wohoooo.
Why isn't this on the NHS? :) I think that people should start an advertising fund for e smoking, this could save so many lives.
Loving my Evo :) just had the entire office crowding round me for a demo.

Morning All :D

Congratulations! I understand your joy! I tried an analog about 5 days after starting my e-cig bacause everybody said it was disgusting and it was disgusting! No really, have been a smoker for 30 years and I thought I was smoking a dirty gym sock! I have never given analogs a second thought. Good Luck!

Keep on vaping!

Tobacco related deaths are at almost 5 million a year worldwide. If a drug company held the patent these things would be flogged and promoted endlessly by western governments (at a HUGE markup). I hope that just this once the good guys win and these become socially acceptable and promoted as a reasonable alternative to tobacco.

I, too, took a drag of a cigarette after about 10 days of e-smoking. I wanted to see what they REALLY tasted like.

I've had some pretty nasty things in my mouth, throughout my life.. When I was a kid, I ate an ant and some dog food. Later in life I tried an honest to goodness mud-pie. In my teens I got to taste some cow poop, through a very unfortunate series of events involving a field, a bottle of gin, some illicit substances and what I thought, at the time, was a pillow and after that, I spent 10 years eating my ex-wife's cooking.

I had 1 half drag and 1 full drag at which point I couldn't stand the flavor or the smell and chucked the thing away.

I think I'd rather eat camel sh.t, straight from the tap, than experience that taste again.

Truly horrible.

Almost choked on my coffee reading that one I was laughing so hard...:D

I haven't had an analog for 3 weeks as of today. Can't say I still don't crave one once in a while.

im still currently on analogs till i get my first e-cig order. i ordered 2 901 kits and i just placed an order for the johnson creek sample pack.

anyways...5 years ago i quit with the help of zyban...took about a week and i remember after a week it felt like licking cigarette ash.

4 months later...i dont remember what hit me...i was outside with a few friends that were smoking and the second hand smoke made me shake...i couldnt resist...i bummed a smoke off one of my friends and at that moment when i took my first few puffs if felt better than sex.

im hoping that when i start to vape....i will get away from analogs and not be tempted to go back

well good luck! I was a moderate to heavy smoker and it took a day for me to get used to vaping before I quit analogs completely. I found it to be a really easy transition. I didn't even expect to quit, I figured I would mess around with my ecig for a few days before taking it seriously, but it worked without me realizing I quit. I would say if it's kind of weird for you to just wait it out for a few days and it will be amazing.

901 is a good first choice, but juice is half the battle as well. JC has good juice but I recommend trying a few different places to find out what you really like.

Good for you! I wish it would work out that easily for me.

I'd like to vape exclusively, but sometimes I just really want a cigarette (like 3 or 4 times a day). Funny thing is, I am annoyed and disgusted when I do it. It doesn't taste good. I have to go smoke into the fireplace because we don't smoke in the house, or go outside if it's windy because if it's windy the smoke blows into the house instead of up the chimney. I can smell it on my clothes and have even been putting on a jacket and tucking my hair into it and immediately washing my hands.

maybe I'm getting there slowly.

I've been vaping since late October. I don't know why I crave a Newport sometimes, only that I do, even though I find it gross and often only take one or two draws. Maybe another chemical that is in the analog other than nicotine? I wouldn't say that I vape more than I would've smoked-- I smoked about a pack a day. I may be just taking a long time withdrawing from something in the cigs. I'm hoping this will work itself out, and I think it will, as the analogs are yucky.

Congrats Edd..... glad it is working out for you.

MissJaaxx - don't beat yourself up over smoking the odd analog. Obviously you're not quite ready to drop them totally yet
.
I went for 5 days when i first got my 901. I smoked maybe 4 a day. Morning, with my first beer, dinner and before bed. Eventually i ran out of analogs and thought i'll try just ecigs. I went for 3 weeks not touching an analog although i STILL had the craving fopr one here or there. Then due to an unexpected money drain i ran out of juice. I went for almost two days with no nic at all. The wife told me to go get some cigs if i was going to be that much of an ****hole. I didn't that evening but did the next day. One pack lasted me just over two days. Then over the next 4 days i done another two packs. I was kinda dissappointed at just how easily i slipped back, but at the same time i didn't really enjoy any of them.

Since i got restocked i have been analog free again. Even now i still have the urge to try an analog. But then after 30 years of smoking 25-30 a day i'm not expecting any miracles. I'm just glad to have a viable alternative to analogs that i can use at home, at work or wherever i am.
