My sinuses started dripping almost immediately into quitting, which has now lead to a nasty sinus infection. I threw up last night from all the drainage. On top of that, my entire mouth seems to have shed a layer of dead skin/gunk, but now the sides of my tongue are really sensitive and I got my first little ulcer there. I know I should be looking at all of these things as positive indicators that my body is flushing all the toxins from my system, but right now I feel like crap and just needed to whine for a sec.

On the plus side, my tongue is a nice, healthy pink again without having to brush/scrape it like crazy like I used to. I'm just ready to be past the worst part.

Sorry to read you are going through this. Others have experienced similar things. Hope it passes soon and you are back to feeling better. Did you get some drugs for the sinus infection? They can be tough to kick and really tough on your head!!

Within about 5 days of my starting to vape, I came down with a flu, an abscessed tooth, a sinus infection and a high fever. Spent most of the next 4 weeks flat in bed. I've thought about this alot over the past 10 months. I strongly suspect that detoxing from tobacco played a big roll in my illness.

Enough of me. I am so sorry to read you are under the weather. Get well soon,
Happy vaping,
Paula

Yeah, I considered the PG thing. I'm going to give it another few days and see if it clears up on its own but, if not, I'm gonna switch to VG and see if that helps.

I ordered all my juice from V4L, and it was all PG. I think a couple were the WOW vapor and a couple were the Premium. I got the blueberry cobbler (free sample), Cherry, English Toffee, Mango, and Caramel Mocha Frappe.

Wow Paula. I did not have those types of problems. Sorry to hear you did. I did, however, stop snoring(good thing) but started grinding my teeth(not so good). Also tmj...which is very painful. After long expensive dental visits, I am now able to enjoy my new nic-free journey.

OK, I know I saw some links to good places to buy VG juice on ECF somewhere, but now I can't remember where. Anybody know? I think I've changed my mind. I'm going to go ahead and order some ASAP just in case this is an allergic reaction. Couldn't hurt.

I do agree that detoxing from tobacco can make you sick. Even when you do detox diets, they warn you that you may get ill the first few days because of all of the toxins suddenly being released into your body that were previously stored in your cells.

I remember one of my first purchases of juice was from a chinese based company. Their flavor was good, but as soon as I got a little jucie on my lips my lips went totally numb and started burning. I waited about a week to try it again and still got the same reaction. That is when I decided only to buy us made ejuices that offer the usp for pg/vg. For me I like 50/50. Can do 60pg/40vg but anything that has more pg in it cause my lips to chap and peel.
Hang in there....it will work out.

From my experience so far...since I too am sick (lost my voice, sinus drainage, congestion) and I made it through all winter without getting sick; And since I quit analogs and switched to vaping, I am sick. I totally agree Paula!

I hope you get better spaghetti straps!

Many of the FreedomSmokeUSA.com juices can be bought as 100% VG and I think Velvet Vapors can

Once you feel better, try 50/50 instead and if that is OK you could try 70pg/30vg which is enough VG for many people to not be irritated by the nicotine

Meanwhile, if you buy some 99.x% USP Glycerin at Walmart (near rubbing alcohol) or CVS etc, you can cut some of your juice with it. It will cut the flavor and nicotine too but even 10-20% may help you with your current juice. Glycerin is VG.
