I dropped my setup (ProVari + IBT 19mm XL tank) from the passenger seat of our van straight to the concrete driveway (about a four foot drop).

After wiping the tears from my eyes, I bucked up the courage to fish it out from under the van.

I brushed off the dust, expecting shattered dreams. :(

And . . .

:vapor:
Scratched but intact and nary an issue!!! buy with confidence! Worth every dime!!! :toast:

Its nice to know that you have a well built mod, huh. I have a Vamo v5 and an Itaste SVD, as well as two ProVari's. I am constantly dropping my mods. I'm bad about falling asleep and dropping these things on my hardwood floor. If I drop my Vamo, it typically breaks in half, as the body is just pressed together. My Vamo and my hammer now have a close relationship. If I drop the SVD, well little pieces of it fly everywhere. Both side buttons, and rings go flying, sometimes get difficult to find since these buttons are tiny. I've dropped my ProVari many times, inside as well as out. I've managed to scratch and nic my mod, and have broken a few tanks. The ProVari has never been a problem what so ever, after the initial shock of hurting my mod wore off. The ProVari is very tough, or has been for me anyway.

I wouldnt test it more than necessary as it is glass after all ;) not a bad idea to have a backup tube if you do tend to drop it much. I had one tank (the only one I have broken so far) go from lap to parking lot a few times, the last time being its last. Thankfully I was able to talk The Mrs into doing me another Zombie :D
