Yeah, that burnt tire taste was the result of the solvent used for extracting nicotine. We were guilty of the same, but tried our best to mask that.

With the new nicotine we're getting, we don't have to. Lovely stuff. I'm enjoying the HELL out of it.

Are you using the new stuff on all your orders now? I ordered tonight and I sure would like to try it. :)

Hey Landlocked - I'm not a huge fan of VG either, but when you order, try adding some in the mix. I've found that with Geoff's flavors with some VG mixed, I don't get the VG qualities that I don't like (a particular VG sweetness, and mouthfeel I can't really explain). I've had TV at pure PG but now find that I go 20% VG if I'm getting a small bottle, and a 70/30 mix if I do a doubler (with 10% in the 48 strength that I mix with). In my experience anyway, I get more vapor, but I don't detect the VG (no change in flavor/mouthfeel).

He is definitely doing all the right things, so I wouldn't be afraid to experiment. If you wanna start small, try a bottle with 10% mixed in and see how it goes for you! :)
