my last 510 battery just bit the dust! i have a Riva in transit, that i HOPE will be here today, but still says "processed through sort facility" in a nearby town, not "out for delivery" hope the updating is just behind a bit. i'm gonna be checking that darn usps site every 5 minutes! at least if my fingers are occupied on the keyboard, i won't want an analog. anyone have any good suggestions of what you do to pass the time til the mailman arrives? especially if your only pv is dead?? ....Must. stop. fidgeting. i do think i need to get off the forum for a while, it's making me sad that i can't vape.

oh i wish i could. i haven't even been to sleep yet. insomnia has been stalking me thanks to quitting and being unemployed. having no need for a routine makes it really difficult for me to set one. ugh. i'll read a book and try though.

Go buy a big bag of sunflower seeds. That always keeps my oral fixation satisfied. Other than that, you'll probably get you're new VP today, if it is in a nearbye town, it will most likely be out for delivery today. i live in PA, thinking that's a bit far...lol. but thanks for the offer, that's awesome of you! it's my bad for not having my loc in my profile. if it doesn't come today, i'll make the 2 hour drive to the inlaws to borrow one of theirs. at least it'll give me something to do!

You could always run to the smoke shop and pick up a "spare" for emergencies just like this.

buy a disposable in the meantime... I've seen them for as low as $10 in my area... some gas stations, smoke shops and even bars sell them Good luck!

i'll call around, i think i'm the only vaper in this town, lol. but i'll call the local gas stations and our smoke shop to see. i think i'll be ok. starting to mellow down, and may actually be able to catch a few z's. but before i do that, i'm going to try the fix-it idea Santo just sent me. I get insomnia from time to time too.

I find I have to vape LOW mg nic juice in the evenings or anything above 11mg keeps me up all night. I have 16mg for the day but dare not vape it in the evenings. I dare not vape even the 11mg less than an hour before bed. Just a thought.

As many have noted, they are now carrying the disposables in gas stations. Gamucci is one of the brands. I think 7-11 carries a different brand.. if you have a smoke shop, they may have some... but be prepared to explain what you are looking for.. not many places will understand! And if you get just a clerk on the phone, he/she may not even know if the place carries it!

After you get your fix.. then it's time to think about back ups, spares, and emergencies! One place on here is even selling the disposables for shipping/handling only. . Got Vapes has some pretty decent looking disposables too.

Good luck! oh.. and don't forget.. you'll need to start thinking about back ups for your other stuff too.. attys, carts, juice, etc. All of this (although we reuse them) are marketed to BE disposable... they CAN last a long time.. but they can break too!

got plenty of backup cartos and juices, but had 3 510 batts, one newish, two, almost 2 years old. the 2 y/o ones crapped out the other day right after i placed my order with libertyflights. the last held out til today, and i did manage to take a nap and forget about it for a while til my internal mailman alert went off, lol. but it's here safe and sound, with all the extras i ordered for it, and when i get paid, i have more carts worth of stuff lined up to buy! thanks again for all your help and suggestions guys! i never did call around because i did finally get some z's but when i'm out and about i'll scout all the gas stations and convenience stores and see what they've got.

Back ups are a good plan, loads of juice too (I just learned that one myself). I drive a truck and missed my new juice shipment because I had to go back on the road. I found a place nearby after happening across a post here and was able to pick up some. Not the best juice but better than nothing. I ordered a riva from liberty flights too. It is pretty darn good, you'll be happy with it, the batteries really last much longer. I would think you got it by now but USPS can be slow updating their tracking info but I've found that if it was processed through the big sort facility (Rochester in my case) then I'll have it in my box the following day.
