If I still drank booze, Id be at Free State right now LMAO
Now we're talking...heck with the booze, I'm jealous of your brunch now.
You ever do Salty's brunch? I think there's one in Seattle too.

I did see that, I haven't seen it up here though.
You just gave me hope it will be in Missouri though... The beer selection is usually pretty dismal when I go home.
If it's your day off, screw it! Save the responsible act for work days. Just be sure to get what you need before you go back.
So you're close to Lawrence? Nice to see I'm not the only NT fan in the boring state of KS![]()
The apple wood smoked brisket sandwich with a pint of the oatmeal stout is looking pretty damn good to me!......![]()
Oh dear! that rakes up some head splitting memories! My cousin had to walk me along the beach in a bracing breeze at 8am the morning of my wedding thanks to that stuff! ...it was 46 years ago but the memory is still quite fresh!Watch out for the Barley Wine, that stuff will make you crazy!

When we needed to change our eating habits to get my husbands cholesterol down after he proved intolerant to statins, butter was the one thing I refused to substitute! Butter or nothing!I'm not a big drinker, so Bailey's wouldn't do it for me. Here's another solution that might sound nasty but is actually really good. Try a tablespoon of butter, not that margarine crap, but butter. Pure butter from grassfed cows is prefered. It's a creamy, rich taste, good for you, and helps stave off hunger cravings for a good while. Contrary to popular belief, pure butter is good for the body, giving you a healthy dose of Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids. As with all things, moderation is the key. Google butter coffee.
Only time I ever drank the evil stuff, but I've never forgotten it ...makes me shudder just to think about it!Head splitting...that pretty much sums up the day after a night of Barley Wine! Ouch!
Yep, it's the SHIZZ. Check out Bulletproof coffee.I'm not a big drinker, so Bailey's wouldn't do it for me. Here's another solution that might sound nasty but is actually really good. UNSALTED and grass fed high quality butter is the key -- and it must be blended so the melted butter is not just floating on top. (Ask Paula Deen! HAHAHAHAHAHA!)You know, I had heard about this and wanted to try it but, I guess I sort'a forgot about it. We're heading up to Sonoma this weekend and I have just placed it on my "To Do" list. The Sonoma Market is one of the best gourmet markets around and the butter selection they have is unbelievable. This will be done this weekend!
On another note, my little brunch turned out most excellent and I intended to post a pic when it was on the table but alas, it was half eaten before I remembered! Oh well, next time......
Me thinks we really have to start a family food thread!![]()
