Forget waiting 2 months to make my next purchase of a VV and or Bottom Feeder. After vaping a bit last night with my Yeti 510, I just ordered an E-power and some 3ohm cartos and before that some juice from avejuice including bobas bounty, gorilla and hype :) I have saved so much already on analogs (they are $8 here in NJ) that I said Why Not! Very excited :2cool:

good choice-and you are right..and you are saving more than your wallet my friend!

btw, cool sig-had Ryuk as my avi for a while when i first came here-
<3 Deathnote

I will probably keep my sig updated with what Anime I am watching at the time. Although I watch 3 at a time usually, but Deathnote might be my fave to date. Also currently watching Samurai 7 and Darker than Black.

Loved that 20% off right from thet get go from Liberty Flights, damn this board is full of information, and a lot of Money Saving information at that!

That's the spirit! At least you're not spending the money on cigs!

Be aware though that Boba's Bounty is really thick. It won't wick very well at all in cartomizers. Bottom feeders, no problem, but if you want to vape it on your E-Power your best option is dripping.

Also, that 20% off at LF is awesome. I just spent well over $100 on flavourings and a few drip tips and syringes from them last night, saved myself a good little bundle. :)

Congrats on rewarding yourself and the e-power is a great bang for buck choice imo. 3 ohms may be a little high for it though. Let us know how it goes.

Uh oh, did I make a mistake? It has been soon enough to where I can all LF and change it maybe. Let me know please :)

Edit: I see on LF it says it is suitable for all battery types. So can you explain what you mean by too high for it?
Thanks Minfield for the suggestion for dripping the Boba's Bounty, I will do that. And what do ya know, I was actually out of PTB, and they were on sale at the Supermarket for a great price. Now I have 20 to change up some carts! Oh happy day.

3 ohms on a 3.7V device won't be terrible -- a little on the cool side, since that'll put out about 4.5 watts. You'd be better off going with a 2-2.5ohm, since that'll put out between 5.4 and 6.8 watts (lower resistance is hotter), giving you a warmer vape with more vapor, flavour and throat hit.

3ohms is standard resistance. I recommend you learn on those if you are not used to cartos. Then decide if you want the hotter 2.0 ohm ones since E-power is a mod and you can use the 2.0.

But that thick juice - gonna be hard. I find stuffing cartos are easiest to use with juices with 20% VG or less. 30% works too but I can feel the drag degrade and the carto don't work well as long. Very thick juice may not move quickly enough through the stuffing to keep the coil area damp and prevent singeing. I also avoid any juices that seem to drop a lot of flavoring sediment (these are usually dark juices).

Thank you again, if they will work, I will not bother LF to try and change my order, I will just order the 2.0-2.4 another time. How many Mah are the standard 510 batteries like on my Yeti?

Yeah, the 3ohms will work, it'll just be a bit of a cool vape with somewhat reduced vapor, TH and flavour, more like what a regular 510 kit with standard 2.8-3.2ohm atomizer is like.

Yeti is a standard 510 I believe, which would make the battery between 150-180mAh, presuming you got the standard batteries. (They don't show what's what on AltSmoke, so I'm assuming here that standard is 150-180mAh and XL is probably 220-320mAh)

If your VG liquid is too thick, just try a couple % of Pure Grain Alcohol, or plain high proof vodka, and shake the liquid. It helps thin it without noticeably cutting the flavor or nic level. (like maybe 1 ml added to 30ml of eliquid).

I've used 40% (80 proof) vodka (we can't get high proof stuff here) at up to 25% and it's worked great. Doesn't dilute the flavour too much, does reduce the vapor some (though if the liquid is thick it's got a lot of VG in it anyway so it'll probably still produce plenty) but also adds a nice warmth and a slight bit of extra TH as well, so it's quite nice. However even at a low proof you shouldn't need that much, I only used 25% to reduce the nic content per ml, not to thin the liquid.

i just got in some 2.0 ohm Boge cartos today and let me just go ahead and say that the vapor im getting off of it is much warmer and a hell of a lot better TH .... im very pleased ... im using the Joye eGo .... with the atty's that came originally with the eGo the vapor was a bit cold but the TH was still good though i found myself using my old PV more because the cold vape just wasn't hitting the right spot .... good luck with your purchase ... i would still be lost if it weren't for people like Mindfield and Dormouse

We all started somewhere too, and got the same kind of great help, so between that and the fact that vaping is such an incredible experience that got us clean off the cancer sticks we thought we'd forever be a slave to, we just wanna spread the love. It's kind of a weird Woodstock of this century. :D

I bought a little mickey of Absolut specifically to be an additive to my juices. Not gonna waste the premium stuff, after all. :D (Coulda bought Smirnoff but I preferred the little glass bottle the Absolut came in.)

I don't think we have Kudos bars here so I've no idea what they're about anyway. :)

I will MOST CERTAINLY get some cheaper vodka to thin out the VG :) The Goose was quite expensive, I bought a BIG bottle of it on sale. I really need to start making a list for purchases so I am not constantly making small orders and paying shipping. The different cartos, a decent syringe, a USB passthrough and of course more juice to try are on my next list.

And at least the 3.0 boges will not go to waste, I will just use them on my Yeti.

Most eliquid bottles have tops that pop off, just hold the bottle in your hand and push sideways on the dropper portion (or loosen the cap, then push sideways on it). Rinse the syringe with plain tap water, then use it to pull up about 1ml of the vodka, squirt it into a 30 ml bottle of eliquid, put the cap back on, shake and test.
(1 ml is tiny, you can just pour a little vodka into the bottle cap, syringe it from there, pour the rest from the cap back into the bottle).
Plain distilled water ($1/gallon in a grocery store) also works, but alcohol is better for thinning -- less of it needed, less dilution of your eliquid.

YEah, that's all I do. Grab an empty bottle (I keep all my juice bottles), and if I'm just diluting juice I'll pour however much VG I think I need (if I'm using VG), then use the syringe to inject some vodka, then add the juice, cap, shake vigorously, and I'm good to go. Been diluting my current juice that way: 25% VG, 25% vodka, 50% too-strong juice. Shaken, not stirred.

I look at it as practice for when my proper DIY supplies get here. :)
