Hi all,

I've been searching this forum for something I've seen here more than once in the past but I can't find it. I'm looking for the chart that tells you the safety of ohms vs volts... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am using a 4.2volt ego battery and I think I should be using a clearo wtih 1.8ohm but i want to double check... i have 2.4ohm clearos and i think they burn too hot.

The chart is really a starting point, you then dial up or down depending on taste. Also, sometimes delivery systems are incorrectly marked or despite what they read when tested will burn at a higher voltage than they technically should. I have a couple that my mod reads at close to 3.0Ω, but fry over 4v.

A quick way to get a starting point on the fly (I keep stressing "starting point" because everyone's taste is different) is to add "2" to the resistance of the delivery system; for example, if the head is 2.0Ω + 2 = 4v as a place to start from; 1.8Ω + 2 = 3.8v, etc.
