About two days ago I wrapped a new coil on my AGA-T+ (with Pyrex tank) with 4 wraps of 32awg and it came out to 1.8-1.9 ohms. About what it usually does. A little bit ago I decided I wanted to change the flavor so I used a syringe and sucked all the liquid out of the tank and dry burned it until the wick was dry and then made sure there was no hot spots. Now it's reading at 4.9 ohms ( on my eVic).

Wandering ohms means you have connection issues. Tighten the center nut connection (it's usually the culprit on the AGA-T2 due to crappy design). Also, the center post can move when you tighten the device on your mod (it goes all the way down to the 510 connection). Make sure you're not moving it inordinately by tightening it with the cap off and watching the middle post with the nuts. It can also spin...

I've been looking at buying a higher quality genesis atomizer. But I'd really like to get the Orion V3 V.W. Hybrid.
I don't know how I feel about getting a fully mechanical one. I kinda like being able to Change my volts and wattage.

Not to be rude, but that really doesn't address your original question. The AGA-T2/+ is a fine atomizer, it just has a relatively crappy design for the center post IMO. Many are using it very successfully, and I had a good run with it myself. Learn to set it up before considering alternatives, because the basics of a genesis atomizer don't really change much from $25 to $150.

not trying to hijack the thread but I'm also having a similar issue with the richman rba I did a 2/3 wrap with 28 gauge came out to .8 ohms I put it on my vamo it'll read as high as 4.8 I fire it then check ohms again and all of a sudden it's back to .8 ohms it seems to be vapping great on my mech but I don't have any way to check the consistency of the ohms on the mech.
