Ohm question with agat2

I built a 2ohm coil on my rba, but I notice when checking the Ohm it will vary from 2-6. If I move the coil a little the ohm changes dramatically. Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

Check to make sure your connections are tight.Positive post nuts and negative screw.

Everything is tight as possible, I use silica wick. I could never get good wicking with the ss mesh

Are any coils touching eachother? Only time I get ohms jumping around is with a loose connection, past that Im really of no help, sorry.

My coils aren't touching. It only happens after the coil is a couple days old. How often do you rebuild yours?

I have a coil that Ive been using for 3 weeks now, every other day or so I empty the tank and dry burn the coil and blow the ash off, check for new hot spots, adjust if needed, fill and vape.

I got back home and fiddled around with it some I got a nice coil now at 2.3 and it's firing perfect so far.

Do you have extra legs past the pos/neg connections? Any possibility you've got coil wire touching the cap somewhere?

I believe I didn't had the negative post as tight as I could. I rebuilt it with 2 coils playing around and it worked decent. I switched back to a single coil and it's been all good so far.
