Learning here :)
So right now I use an EVOD, mini nova and vape only.
i am trying to figure out the best volts --> ohm for the best taste. I found this info and wondering if this is usually spot on or different with different juices as I have mainly 1.8 because I find that is what I like best with my ego but now that I am getting a new VV APV I want to make sure I use it to its potential. So should I ditch all the 1.8's and get some 2.2 and or 2.5 heads or will the 1.8 also perform good on my APV? I will be getting it this week and it is vv and vw if that makes a difference

anyway this is what I found on a product website and what do these mean wattage/power wise

Resistance Voltage
1.7-1.9O 3.1-3.4v
2.1-2.3O 3.5-3.8v
2.4-2.6O 3.9-4.2v
2.6-3.0O 4.3-4.7v

The charts around are just suggestions and really don't mean anything.

A lot of them are pretty low power wise for ~most~ atty setups, you really just have to try and see what works for you. Personally i vape most things I use (1.5-2.2 ohm) in the 3.7-4.5 volt range, normally in the middle. My genny with SS wick and nextel insulator that comes out to 1.8-2.0 usually i keep around 4.0-4.3 (which end up giving me 9-11 watts) depending on the juice and actual resistance.

You can always figure it all out yourself: Voltage squared divided by ohms equals watts (i.e. V^2/R=W) or the square root of (watts times resistance)= voltage

The rule of thumb was multiple the ohms by 2 and that gives you a voltage to use... but i find that pretty low.

All that said, some devices require lower voltages. For me vivinovas have to be ran REALLY low on my vamo and provari (and really they do not taste good anymore to me).

If you are using a VV ego (be it a twister, spinner, etc) i would set the new device lower than you had been setting the ego since the more advanced devices will seem to hit harder. Also some juices need lower settings than others, fruit flavors are supposed to need lower settings to give the best flavor and from my experiences I will say it is more that the fruit juices dont take higher settings as well as things like mints.
