I'm not that fond of VW because I find most inboard ohm meters are all over the place. It's either low or way too high. I know, the resistance changes as to the voltage applied, but I don't find it so convenient as VV. As for now is mostly vape by taste, and I can never be sure if it's going to be good or mediocre, just depending on the ohm readout. Just now, an 1.8 ohm head nautilus is reading 2.5 on my istick 30, 1.7 on my IPV mini and 2.0 on the sigelei mini. I just can't understand how you can vape on this, I thought it was my rebuildables, but no, it's the onboard ohm meter.

Actually if it is more than .1-.3ohm off - You need to clean the 510 threading on the devices and the tanks :D

You might get 1 crappy mod reading wrong, but 3 is not likely.

As to convenient - VV and VW are equally adjustable. VW simply puts your swapped tank at the starting point of the last tank regardless of coil ohms reading.

Do you have any idea what accurate ohm readers cost? How would you like paying 2-3 thousand for a PV?

Megger model DLRO10 HD Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeter 10 A from Davis Instruments

It costs a couple of hundred just to have one calibrated.

Less, about .8 ohms. Good advice, I'll drop the base into alcohol and use some Q tips on the threads... But this iStick is new, barely 2 weeks old.

Nope, but I think neither should be touted as the ultimate solution... AND, my 10 buck ohm reader (the black one everyone has) is dead spot with my Fluke meter, that, BTW, doesn't cost that much either

Neither of which can accurately read .01 ohms. (unless your Fluke is an 88 series, they start at about a thousand bucks)

But .7 is too much. Even now it's fluctuating from 2 all the way to 2.5, reading that when I take the tank out to refill. On one ocassion it read all the way to 3 ohms (dry and new of course).

Ya something is either loose or dirty to have that much fluctuation. A little ohm reader can easily be off by .5 -.7, but something is wrong to have the fluctuation.

    Exactly.

Anyway I'm just gonna refer to my standard response to the whole Fluke thing.

Before some fool comes in and blurts out Fluke, I'd ask them which model and ask them compare the price and specs and justify that kind of thoughtless advice....

    ...it would be highly entertaining.

For the money, you'd be hard pressed to find anything remotely as accurate or reliable than one of those USA Ohmmeters.

Quit using the METER to regulate Taste and production.. It's there to check, battery safety PERIOD. Adjust for taste with your EYES closed. If it tastes good and is at a SAFE power level, do the numbers really matter? IF clouds are your concern, look at the cloud when adjusting NOT THE MOD. Same thing the NUMBERS don't matter, the CLOUD is the goal.
