Ohms and watts

Hi everybody I couldn't find a topic on this so I decided to make one. I have a protank 1 on a tesla vv/vw mod and what im wondering is my tesla reads the protank at 2.2 ohms. I enjoy vaping between 9.5-11 watts. Is this too much? Thanks guys/ladies/fellow vapors

in terms of watts it more about what the device will put out, and not give a burnt taste. 2.2ohms at minimum can handle 13.75 watts on a 2.5amp limited device. the higher the amp limit on the device the more watts you can push, but it wont always taste great.

What deleon said. You most likely won't pop the coil at that wattage. But does it matter? I don't know why people are obsessed with "vaping by the numbers." You start a Kanger coil at your lowest available wattage or voltage and move up until you get the flavor and vapor productions you are looking for. That's all that matters.

Kanger BCC stuff is small coils with tiny wicks so what "the chart" suggests is an appropriate voltage or wattage - according to the laws of physics - is usually too much. What actually works well regarding voltage or wattage will vary depending on the design of any device, independent of it's resistance.
