Regarding volts, this should help.

As far as wattage goes (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong), you can essentially set it at whatever level you enjoy vaping at best! Volts you usually want to be within the green ranges above in relation to your resistance, watts is entirely customizable based on preference.

Start off low and work your way up. The whole reason for vv is so each individual can find a voltage where everything works well for them.

It's very easy...:)...forget the volts, ohms, watts, no numbers necessary. Simply start at the lowest setting possible and vape it, if it needs more flavor, vapor, adjust it up a little bit. Continue inching the setting up, testing by taste, if it starts tasting burnt, back it off.

No numbers, math involved....

^^ This. Or 7/8 watts for most people. It DOES vary a bit depending on person/juice/coil. Remember the dual coils split the watts over the coils...so you'd have to double the watts. The device may not be able to produce that many watts...depends on the device. SLR and heavy gauge wire is another animal entirely.

The watts are in the chart where the ohms and volts intersect. If you look at the safe range, all the watts listed are between 4-8 ohms

I can't stand it. I'm gonna do it! They just keep posing "The Chart"....(cue suspense music....Dun, Dun DUUUUUN!) I'm posting a formula!

It's even in "The Chart"! People complain about formulas, and then they post "The Chart" with the formula! It's completely derived from the formula. It's in the fine print. So....I'm not posting it at random, I'm just point out what has already been posted. :D Yep, it's right there....in the little box in the lower right. Look! It's there!

Voltage squared divided by ohms. V2

I feel better now.

Of course, you can just start low and dial up like everyone said.
