Ohms change over time?

I've only built a few times and on each build my ohms move up ~.2-.5 after using it for a while. Is this normal? What causes that?

I've always attributed it to gunk on the coil and wear on the wire (heating does degrade it over time a bit), making it a touch smaller gauge over time.

I see the same drift upward during use that you do, and it's been commented on before, so it's nothing unusual.

If you use a cotton wick pull the wic/s run your RBA under hot water( not attached to your mod) to rinse it off. Then do a dry burn to clean off your coils they should look more like a metal color than a black gunk color after you dry burn. Also when you get them cleaned up make sure that they still heat up from the inside out and that you have no hot legs. If you need to while you are dry burning give the coils a pinch with your tweezer to make sure they are tight and rewick and vape on. I have a set of coils in my Igo-W that is at least 20 days old and still going strong.

Carbon and gunk buildup on the wire. A dry burn usually will fix that issue.

also check the posts, make sure everything is still tight.

Definitely try snugging the screws down a bit just to make sure.

The wires sometimes move around and you need to re-tighten everything. Usually that fixes it.
