Any clearo will have a resistance that will work on an ego. Whether you like a warm vape or a cool vape will determine the preferred resistance, not the abilities of the battery.

Edit: You say long battery life is key, go with a high mAh battery and a higher resistance clearo and you will get more battery life than with a low resistance setup.

You are looking for something to put on your Ego and want to know the best ohm range for the topper?

If so, somewhere around 2.0 in my opinion. I wouldn't go much lower than maybe 1.8 or much higher than 2.2 or 2.4. Lower ohms will produce a higher wattage on the basic Ego, and more vapor and flavor typically. They will also drain the battery charge faster, and most Ego manufacturers don't recommend going below 2.0 ohms. Just one persons opinion though.

The Evod clone is decent, and it comes in around 2.4 ohms. But it is not recommended with tank cracker juices. The DCT pyrex carto tank will handle tank crackers, but then you need to buy carto's for it.

Edit, above poster is correct, higher ohms will drain the battery slower than lower ohms.

Around 2.0 ohms, perhaps 2.2, is the sweet spot for your battery system. You get the benefit of better vapor and flavor and a bit longer battery life than lower resistance coils. I would try both bottom and top coil rebuildable atomizers, and stick with the one that suits you best.

You're looking at around $6.00 per atomizer, with coils/heads at about $1.00 to $1.50 per, assuming you buy them online.

If you really don't want to have any issues on your month long journey, bring backups. Get two or more of each system, and make sure you have enough coil/head systems to cover each twice over.

so basically 1.8 - 2.2? When I ordered my ego-c starter kit I got a 5 pack of low resistant ohms and a 5 pack of high resistant ohms attomizers. I don't recall what the specifications were. I was just wondering the general range that would work for an ego-c. I recently got a usb passthrough that has variable voltage from 2-6 I think...that kind of setup it wouldn't matter on attomizer resistance as I can change voltage. I was just curious with ego what the "acceptable" range was. Theoretically if I get too high or too low it won't work with my ego-c?
