Well... Some people like doing it with voltage some people like wattage, to me no difference, long as I know what I want whether it be in wattage or voltage or something else, same thing... lol
watts is the rate of change of current when it meets resistance. to correlate to the pic I posted, it is how fast the current is able to get pass that resistance to complete the circuit.
A simpler explanation would be to compare VV & VW to a car.
A car with cruise control activated would maintain the same speed you set regardless of the road gradient.
A car without cruise control would have to manipulate the gas pedal in order to maintain at the same speed when negotiating road of differing gradient.
APVs with VW function would be performing like the cruise control car regardless of the different ohms you use. It is only limited by the max output of your APV.
For VV, higher ohms means you have to crank up you voltage.
