I have the 1.8 ohm BVCs. All I can say is I threw the vaping chart out the window. Usually, you select the resistance depending on the volts you would like to run the coils on. But with the BVCs, you have to run it WAY higher than the "safe" range of volts to get a good vape (and it's a really great vape!).

I run mine at 5 volts consistently; according the the vaping charts, I should be running them at about 3.5v. Had them for 5 days and still running like champs. No burnt taste. If I run them at the recommended voltage, I can barely feel the vape. If you search around the forum, you'll see that others are running them similarly.

So really get whichever. They can take a beating. Although these are the only pre-built coils I've seen that act this way. I'm not complaining. :p

Just got my coils in from aspire and the 1.8 read as 1.9. At 5v its about 13w. Thats nice for lung hits but not nearly enough for mouth to lung in my opinion. One would think 13w sounds good based on the past coils but not on these. I prefer 3 to 4 seconds tops vaping vs sitting there for 10 seconds with my eyes bugging out like people do on youtube. So maybe 13w on say an MVP 2 is fine for those who dont mine needing a longer pull I don't know. So I'm vaping at 5.84v coming out to 18w and it's great.
