Ohms vs. Volts

So, I ordered an Infinity Pro which goes from 3.3 to 5.5 Volts, I think. I also have VV eGo's that go from 3.2V to 4.2V. I love this VV stuff. Anyway, I see that the fluxomizers are in different ohms. Is it lower for more voltage or higher? What exactly do the ohms mean?

buy some Low Resistance ones and high resistance ones.

I'm sure somebody will chime in with the math on this one, but you want to use low resistance at low voltage, and high resistance at high voltage. For example, if you use a low resistance widget (like 1.5) on a PV that's putting out high voltage (like 5v) you're probably going to fry something. Either the widget, or your PV, or both... If you're vaping 5v, I would stick with 3.0 ohms.

On the ip, you will get more run time sticking with the higher resistance cartos, at higher voltage.

For use on a VV mod, you want standard (3.0ohm) resistance. Turn the voltage up for a warmer vape. I prefer vaping at a higher voltage with standard resistance than 3.7V with low resistance. Folks will say they are the same but they aren't. Give both a try and decide for yourself and you'll see what I mean.

I agree. I notice a stronger hit with low resistance, and a lot more flavor with high resistance. thats just me though. it all depends on the user.

I think the ones I just ordered were 2.4ohm. So, I shouldn't go over 4V with them?

I run my 2.5 ohm 306 attys at 6 volts, knocks my socks off. it tastes best at 5.3volts though. heres where ohms law comes in though. volts divided by ohms equals amps. my mod (papa smurf from krimson kustoms) maxes out at 3 amps. if I put on a 2 ohm atty and ran it at 6 volts, I might either trip the overload(I prey), or burnout the evercool unit. ask for more info from the supplier on whaqt your mod is made to handle.

You can use them all the way to max voltage on the ip, no harm.

I signed it the first time I came to this forum. It was still in the early 3000's then. It looks like it is gaining ground, but I am really surprised that it hasn't hit 5000 yet. I'll post it in other forums to help.
