Just having a little fun!! That's my middle name!! LOL

I am telling the truth in that I've been lurking LOTS!! I love to research anything that I am interested in!! And I am in LUV with vaping!! I joined ECF the day before my birthday..lol but kept lurking, and there have been sooo many times I wanted to post... and couldn't, so here I go!!

Howdy ALL!!!!!

I smoked my last cig on January 9th!! Been vaping a few weeks prior to quitting, and finally said..." Why am I trying to smoke when I can't even finish the whole nasty thing???" Best day, and decision I have ever made!! Within days I could breathe better... take LONG breaths that used to bring on a coughing jag! sense of smell.... out of the clear blue detect smells.... fragrances... scents... that were lost to me for a long time!! And I actually RAN the other day... hehe.. and ran some more... just cause I COULD!!!!

So to go back to my title...

I am good now cause I have given up the cigs!!:D
I was BAD cause I never should have picked them up in the first place
I am OLD... LOL but at least still kicking
AND I am new... as in newbie;)

Smoked the cigalikes and have my first e-Go 900mah's coming!! I got 2 sets cause I know me.. and I will want several flavors waiting on me to decide what I want to vape next. As they say... variety is the spice of life!! I will need more cause I like to change many flavors every day.

I don't "know" if I did good or anything on deciding to get the e-Go. I am sure there are others that are better and worse, and if any of you have a recommendation I sure want to hear it. I'm not into getting the "newest things" I am getting into having what works... is reasonable and will hopefully last a good while.

OH... and I am from the South... I'll say/type some weird language to some of you..LOL I do spell some words in CAPS and I am NOT screaming... I am passionate.. is what I like to say and get "excited" so please don't take offense to anything I ever say.

OH... and btw... did I say I am from the South I luv to talk too!!

I am SO proud to be a member of ECF!!!

Welcome. Glad to hear you have switched to vaping. I'm sure you'll enjoy your ego even more than those cig-alikes and continue to receive benefits from the switch.

This can be a bit of a jungle and a candy store as there are tons of things to choose from. Just keep at it, keep learning and do ask questions. Once you get used to your ego, you might want an ego twist or an Itaste III for a similar sized device with a couple extra bells and whistles to play with.

It's always good to have what we call "back-ups" and one can't go wrong with a couple of ego sized devices.

Welcome! Good to meet you and congratulations! I started with Joye Egos (standard and usb passthroughs, 650s and 1000s) 18 months ago and I still use them. I have a Vamo, Slip, Spinners, various passthrough VVs, various 18350, 18500 and 18650 mechanicals, 510 manuals and they all pretty much stay in my backup drawer and I've given away other devices. I still prefer my egos and erolls. I prefer the Joye C upgrade passthrough for convenience charging but, overall, for the VV (3.3 or 3.7) option and battery warning light that the less expensive no-name or other brands of egos don't offer.

Nice subject. :) Welcome to ECF. Now just individually thank at least the first four who welcome you here and you'll have the five posts necessary to post in other forums. That'll happen at :25 after the hour when the server updates.

LOL NicoHolic!!! You don't know a "proper" Southern girl...LOLOL We "propers" have to answer every one!!! Good to know that I will also be able to add my "feelings" or whatever to another post though. Thanks for welcoming me!!

Hi patkin, and nice to meet you too!!

whew.... got a little lost in all that 18350... etc..LOL but I know I'll catch up soon!! I read a little about the battery warning light feature, but forget which ones that is on... can you tell me which ones?? I think I would really be interested in that kind. BTW... is it better to charge the batteries before they are completely dead... or just let them die??

Howdy, and welcome. I love your enthusiasm! I think I can call myself a southern gal. I live in Oklahoma, and we say ya'll all the time.:)

I'm pretty new, and love my ego starter set that I got. It is working great and I'm not smoking at all. And I just found a new favorite juice from Mt. Baker Vapor - Cinnamon Roll - delish. So I'm having a great week and looking forward to a fun weekend, too.

You might get different opinions about charging batteries. I notice that the ego battery I have still "works" and lights up, but as it gets near to the end of its charge, after quite a few hours, (6 or so) it doesn't vape as well. I mean the vapor is not as much. So, that's when I put it on the charger and get the fresh one. I've been using mine since I started 3 weeks ago, and I haven't let them die so far.

I don't work, so it's convenient to just keep it charged up.

Hey... gotta have a little fun in life right?? AND... as we get older... what else is there?? WE can "blame" it on our age!! And yeah.. you are southern..LOL

OHHH you are speaking my language with the cinnamon Roll!! Sounds Yummy. These e-liquids are another whole nother!! Do I remember correctly that the cinnamon ones ruin a plastic carto?? I have soooo much more reading to do before it will stick in my pea brain!!

The seller I got my e-Go's from also sent free Kangerteck T3... somethings. Reading good things about them!

Thanks!!

I am noticing that as well with these cigalikes too! But I still forget and wait till I can't get anything from them and look at the light flashing away. I'll learn I hope!!

OH you are sooo right to have the back ups. Tha'ts why I ordered 2 double kits, and already know me well enough that that will be a drop in the bucket for me!! Hate to admit it, but I have about 10... did I say TEN:ohmy: cigalikes right here beside me so I can change flavors on a whim. Well... not much flavor at all, and that's why I am going on to better things. Least I hope they are better!!

Welcome to the best online community there -is-

Congratulations on quitting! Excellent getting some control back, isn't it? :D

OMGosh!! Shaunieboy!!

You have no idea how good it feels to have a little self control!! Well yeah you do..LOL I still sometimes ... I guess... have a few minutes of thinking I want/NEED a real cig, but am wondering if I need more nicotine in the ecig?? I vape 18mg most the time, but I was also a heavy 2 plus packs a day smoker. And most of these cheap cigalikes I have I feel like I am having to puff my brains out!!

I was a 2+ pack a day just over two months ago, and started on 24mg - after a short while that was too much, but it certainly got me over the "oh crap, I need a smoke" moments (of which we mostly all have, and many of, in the early stages)

There's a fair bit more in cigarette smoke that I think I was addicted to on top of nicotine though, so even ramping up to high levels of nicotine, you may still feel some cravings..

No harm in going up a notch to 24, see if it helps :)
